THEME: Solution for visually challenged people
ABOUT :This project is useful for visually challenged people we used
arduino uno,ultrasonic sensor, buzzer,vibrating motor,9v battery.
Problem Statement
• Visually challenged people need a third person’ support when
they are going out
• Some of the visually challenged people are hearing disabled also
• Most of the Visually challenged people would like to be self
dependant
SOLUTION
• We team “Tech Kids” ideated the challenges faced by disabled
people. Here we are proposing a solution for visually challenged
people to guide them by self using a stick. This guide stick will help
the people to walk alone outside without anyone’s help.
• We also added feature for various vibration tone to alert if the people
hearing disabled too.
• Buzzer and vibration motor communicate with the people to alert

benefits
• The guide stick will help the people to alert the objects ahead with
vibration and buzzer sound
• It can produce sounds by levels
• The colour of the stick makes the other people to find the visually
challenged people
• Some people are visually challenged and hearing disabled also for
that problem we fixed a vibrating motor also
Future modification
• We will modify the project by using solar panel without battery
• We will insert the sounds for top,right and left
• We will use GLOW IN THE DARK PAINT in the stick it will makes the
stick bright in night
• We can also use a sensor in the stick`s end to find the objects in the
ground
conclusion
Our project is very useful for visually challenged people to walk frequently or
freely without any help from others
