The MAR is housed in two interconnected buildings with different architectural styles in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The older building contains exhibition halls and hosts national and international exhibitions on art, culture, and history. The second building is home to the School of Vision, which offers academic programs related to art, culture, and education. Christ the Redeemer, one of Rio's most iconic landmarks, is located atop Corcovado Hill and was designed in the 1920s.
