Sunda Straits Bridge was planned since 1960. This project need cooperation many expert from many engineering discipline and worthy finance strength.
What we should be planning, scheduling, praying, implementing the project and the grace of God, peace transparent sea water medium.
Sunda Strait Bridge, bridge as media hub natural sources, human resources, transportation, fiber optics and marine traffic. The challenge to build bridge with the most dangerous vulcano what made this continue island become separate two. Huge eruption and tsunami destroy civilization around this volcano and other continent.
The planned Sunda Strait bridge will cross at least 29 kilo metres (18 miles) between the country's two most populous islands, Java and Sumatra, and pass at its closest point a mere 50 kilo metres from the still-active Krakatau volcano.
We hope with friendship collaboration with marine country we make peace and better world. Tsunami 9 richter in Aceh made Nangroe Aceh Darussalam. Assalam Tsunami Krakatau made peace in the world.
Andere
maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen zoals variabele werktijden, toegenomen mobiliteit

This report discusses the potential contribution that energy derived from the tides and waves can make to overall energy supply in a sustainable way. It covers the topics of wide range like how tides and waves are formed; functions of the possible and popular power generation systems especially tidal barrages, turbines, oscillating water columns and wave farms. Advantages and disadvantages of tidal and wave energy are also briefly discussed. Some cost data’s used give us brief insight into the economic prospects of the tidal and wave energy. By turning to potential along the Indian coastline, we found that India do have a huge potential of tidal and wave energy, though it has started very late. Government
initiatives and extensive research focused on the mentioned relevant opportunities will surely change the energy scenario.
A power plant is a complex industrial facility designed to generate electricity or other forms of power. These plants play a crucial role in supplying energy for various purposes, from lighting homes and powering factories to running transportation systems. In this article, we'll explore the fundamental aspects of power plants, their types, operation, environmental impact, and the future of power generation.
1. **Types of Power Plants**
Power plants come in various forms, each with its own method of generating power:
- **Fossil Fuel Power Plants:** These plants burn coal, oil, or natural gas to produce steam, which drives turbines connected to generators. Fossil fuel power plants are prevalent but contribute to greenhouse gas emissions.
- **Nuclear Power Plants:** Nuclear reactors use controlled nuclear reactions to heat water, creating steam to power turbines. They produce significant energy with low emissions but face concerns about safety and nuclear waste.
- **Renewable Energy Power Plants:** These plants harness energy from renewable sources like sunlight (solar), wind, water (hydroelectric), and geothermal heat. They have gained popularity due to their low environmental impact.
- **Hybrid Power Plants:** Combining different energy sources, such as solar and natural gas, can improve reliability and reduce environmental impact.
2. **Operation of Power Plants**
Regardless of the energy source, power plants follow a similar operational principle:
- **Generation:** Energy is converted into electricity through turbines and generators.
- **Transmission:** High-voltage lines transport electricity over long distances to substations.
- **Distribution:** Lower-voltage lines distribute electricity to homes and businesses.
3. **Environmental Impact**
Power plants have a significant impact on the environment, depending on the energy source:
- **Fossil Fuel Plants:** Emit greenhouse gases, contributing to climate change. They also release pollutants harmful to human health.
- **Nuclear Plants:** Produce radioactive waste that requires long-term management and pose potential risks if not properly maintained.
- **Renewable Energy Plants:** Have low emissions, but their environmental impact varies. Hydroelectric dams can disrupt ecosystems, and solar panels require rare materials.
4. **The Future of Power Generation**
The future of power generation is undergoing a significant transformation:
- **Renewable Energy Growth:** Wind and solar power are becoming more cost-effective, leading to increased adoption.
- **Energy Storage:** Advancements in battery technology are improving energy storage, making renewable sources more reliable.
- **Smart Grids:** Smart grid systems enhance energy distribution and efficiency by incorporating digital technologies.
- **Decentralization:** Distributed energy resources, like rooftop solar panels, empower individuals and reduce reliance on centralized power plants.
- **Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS):*

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:
A tale of scale & speed: How the US Navy is enabling software delivery from l...sonjaschweigert1

Gucumatz
1. Gucumatz, the quetzal serpent
"There was only stillness and silence in the dark at night. Only the creator, the trainer, tepú,
Gucumatz, our parents were in the water surrounded by light. They were hidden under green
and blue feathers, so they are called Gucumatz "
... Of Pophol Vuh
After the defeat in battle with those of Zuyba, full of sadness warriors met in Tapuc and quiches
Olomo and asked them to cachchiqueles "where is your salvation?"
The Cackchiquel responded "only in water is our salvation", so were called Gucumatz
... In the Annals of the Kaqchikel
Gucumatz means "quetzal serpent" or "precious snake bird " and is associated with the idea of
water in all the ancient Mayan stories, for quiches gods was one of the trainers and creators of
life when the sky was high and the earth came water giving way to multiple and complex forms
of life. From the time of the Maya mankind has undergone numerous changes, now depends on
energy to survive. The old Kaqchikel thought that the water was his salvation in God the creator
Gucumatz.
For this reason we chose the name Gucumatz for the structure of the project carried out could be
a savior to some of the great problems of mankind and bring us peace and former kaqchikeles.
The "Gucumatz" to build on Rotational Energy Geo:
It involves inserting a pipe with several turbines to be placed inside a certain depth under the
sea. And with the tubing attached or anchored to the seafloor the purpose is to cause an incipient
movement of sea water inside the tube with turbines, incipient movement that begins to
accelerate in a controlled manner that will allowed to reach the water flow at certain rate until it
reach the expected circulating water quantity, according to the established design, which would
be achieved to produce the desired power. All that design depends on the length, diameter, and
the material used inside the tube. And it also depends on the latitude and longitude to be placed
on the planet.
The Design:
If from two points, spaced 200 km, for example, from the beaches of New York, (USA) to the
east, toward the sea, water is pumped into a tube or duct that you call me, "Gucumatz" 30
meters internal diameter made of fiberglass, PVC (or equivalent) with a pumping speed of 25
km / hour, making the discharge, a strong source of water 15 feet high.
For doing the above it requires an amount of about 75 million horsepower pump (57,000 mega
watts). However if this same tube is placed toward the north, does not require any horsepower,
(no motor). If it were necessary to cause initial movement, exciter, this is nothing but a
requirement of 100 horses out. This is because the water is at a higher speed in the first position
and by placing the tube to the north is where the water flows slower comparing to Earth's
rotation speed.
