  3. 典型的 DHT 结构的 P2P 查找服务: Chord 、 CAN 、 Pastry 、 Tapestry 等 基于 DHT 的 P2P 网络查找算法的核心:定义 peer (或 peer-key )之间的距离,保存邻近的 peer ,查找跳数为 log 级 最初采用扁平结构:查询和维护时使用同样的函数和负载
  4. 分层结构在大规模复杂结构中的应用
  5. CAP : 2-tier unstructured P2P network 分层结构化 P2P 对比: 水平分层,将一组节点看做一个节点,无 gateway 节点

Content caching: Iterative routing vs. Recursive routing: intermediate peers in the iterative routing do not forward the request to the next hop peer, instead, they return the next hop peer information to the initiating peer; the initiating peer then sets up connection to the next hop peer by itself and the lookup procedure is executed iteratively. Churn effect: hierarchical architecture groups the more powerful and reliable peers into the upper tiers of sub-overlays Garces-Erice et al. proved that in the presence of churn, the expected lookup hop count in a two-tier hierarchical architecture was significantly decreased in comparison to flat architecture.
