Gst enrolment from WB Vat

1. Go to www.wbcomtax.gov.in.
2. Click on the site reference displayed on the site.

1. Enter the User ID and Password.
2. Once logged in, a provisional ID and Access token (password) will be generated to be
used while registering in GSTN.

Uploads Required for registering on GSTN:

1. Access the url : www.gst.gov.in.
2. Click the “ New User Login” button.

1. The Declaration page is displayed.
2. Select the check box and click on “Continue”.

1. The Login Page is displayed.
2. Fill in the provisional ID, password (Access Token), mandatory characters and click on “Login”.

1. The Provisional Id verification page is displayed.
2. After filling in the Email Id and Mobile number, two OTPs’ are generated , each being
separately sent to the email id and the mobile number provided.

Enter the two OTPs’ in the given fields and click on “Continue”.

1. The new credentials page is displayed.
2. Fill in the required fields and click on “Continue” button.

1. The Security Questions page is displayed.
2. For each question, enter the answers, and click the “Submit” button.

The message “Username and Password has been successfully changed. Kindly login using
these credentials” will be displayed.
Login can be done using the newly created Id and password.

1. Dashboard will be displayed on login using the newly generated Id. In total, 8 tabs are
required to be updated.
2. Click on each tab, and enter the details.

Verification
Electronically signing of the application is mandatory for Company, LLP, Foreign
Company and Foreign LLP.
In case DSC is not registered, same has to be done in order to complete the submission.
In case of other applicants, submission of application with DSC is optional.

1. To submit the enrolment application, click on “Submit with DSC” button.
2. To save the application, click on “Submit” button.
3. Once the form is submitted, the success message will appear on screen. The
acknowledgement of the same will be sent to the registered email address.

Registering DSC on GSTN:
1. Click on Register/Update DSC under Dashboard.
2. Click on “Click here for instruction on installing signer utility”.
3. Click on appropriate download as per Operating System.
4. Click on “Steps to install Signer Utility”.
5. Right click on the emSigner button and run as administrator.
6. Once emSigner is installed, check on “I have downloaded and installed the signer”.
7. Click on “Proceed”.
8. Select DSC, and on successful submission, DSC will get registered.
