Editor's Notes

  • #19 What is time management - The process of organizing and planning to how to divide your time between different activities is call time management
  • #23 Lighting McQueen is an up and coming racer who is full of pride and ambitious. On his way to his championship race, he accidentally get lost and found himself to a forgotten town named radiation spring where his reckless driving destroys the entire road So before he leave the town to go back to his race, he's charged by the mayor to fix the road he damaged. In his frustration and limited time, his hack job leaves the road even worse Where did he went wrong – To fix the road properly McQueen should have taken a more careful and precise approach, in doing so he would have managed his time better in the first place and he wouldn't have need to waste time doing the same road again. What did we learn – With your own projects , we shouldn’t speed things up to simply get them done or you will end up costing yourself more time than you originally may require to complete that project.
  • #25 Set Reminder The key to time management success is to know your deadline and to set reminders Setting reminder 15 min before the meet or event so you can prepare and gather your things Create daily planner Make a list of task that you need to accomplish Note the upcoming meeting or deadlines Give each task a time limit Note down how much time you think each task will take Stop when not finish in the allotted time and com back later Sometimes changing activity and coming back gives fresh mind and new perspective Block out distraction Maximum concentration a person can have is 2 sec Set 30 min block to check email instead of checking every 15 min Try to min non work distraction such as cell phone, social media or online store
  • #31 What is stress? Stress is often the result of feeling trapped and overwhelmed by the problems in our life Stress is a natural feeling We also defined the stress as a physical reaction to a person's emotions There are two kind of stress positive stress(eustress)and negative stress(distress)
  • #33 Type of stress There are three type of stress forms Acute stress - most common stress form, acute stress occurs dye to day to day stresses Effects - most acute stress fades quickly and has little mental or physical effect Episodic acute stress -episodic acute stress develops when someone experiences acute stress multiple times over an extended period Chronic acute stress -chronic acute stress happens when someone cannot avoid a long term stress full situation
  • #35 Effects of stress – Physical effect -sweating, increase heart rate, increase blood pressure, headache, Emotional effects -helplines, Loneliness, hostility Behavioural effects -reduce eating, drug or alcoholic abuse, erratic sleep habits, cognitive effects -memory loss, loss of concentration, negative outlook stress disorder effects-depression, chronic muscle pain, sleeping disorder
  • #37 Ways to manage your stress 1- Getting enough sleep can have a variety of health benefits including reducing stress and improving your mood. 2-Make an effort to eat nutritious meals and avoid rating on the run so that you avoid indigestion. 3- Exercise can help you fall asleep which itself can help reduce stress. 4-Drinking coffee and energy drinks to fuel your late night study binges, can inevitably lead to a crash later on 5- A hectic schedule is a stressor itself which can cause several others.
  • #39 Cons of stress 1-Stress isn't easy on the mind. When we experience stress, we tend to experience this heavy feeling on our consciousness. 2- When we don't take stress nearly seriously enough, it can lead to several health problems. 3-When we experience stress, we tend to have heightened emotional reactions to situations.
  • #41 Pros of stress 1-So we've talked about how the brain doesn't really help filter distractions, but is capable of handling them. 2- Stress forces you to take actions, it makes you do things that you normally wouldn't have. 3- Stress isn't something that you can get used to and cant even resist.
  • #43 So I would be presenting A small case study Once upon a time there was a girl named Maggie who currently passed out of school very excited to go to college it would be going to be the best time of her life But she was trying to juggle Schoolwork, Job responsibility and parenting her sister She was experiencing Stress We all would have been in the same place once in a while right what advice do u have for Maggie?
  • #47 My main motive is to give you one mantra Do u have a problem in your life? (Video by Gaur Gopal Das)
  • #51 One powerful way to achieve this is by increasing workplace efficiency. Efficiency in the workplace means when employees carry out the correct tasks in the right way, with the least waste of time and effort. In essence, improving workplace efficiency is about helping employees work smarter, not harder. Thus more can be produced (i.e. help more clients, make more money, provide more product/services, grow the business) with the same amount of resources. Efficient employees are productive. They know how to organize their time and effort to complete tasks on time.
  • #53 There are several factors that affect employee productivity and efficiency in the workplace, such as work environment, leadership, job satisfaction, training, processes, and culture. When it comes to helping employees learn to make the most of their time, it often comes down to making improvements to your day-to-day culture. Efficiency and culture are both long-term strategic concerns, and they go hand in hand. When your employees have the training they need for individual efficiency and the structure they need for group efficiency, you can create a culture that makes the most of your resources—both human and financial.
  • #55 Time tracking software About only 17% of people can actually correctly estimate time passage. Since then, the investment in time tracking apps will help improve employee productivity and help them better understand how long tasks could take them to perform. Establish deadlines Deadlines are very important to follow for any productive behavior. It is very often when the length of time spent on a specific task depends on how much time is allocated for its completion. Usually deadlines are used to create stress to enhance productivity. However, only realistic deadlines are effective.  Prioritize work Efficiency of work could be improved by to-dos list by task urgency. When you are capable of prioritizing tasks with a task management software it could help keep your employees organized, motivated, and accountable.  Reconsider meetings On average office employees spend over 31 hours a month attending very unproductive meetings. It is recommended if you can meet with your team members via email format, phone conference or video conference and you think that could be more effective consider doing so as an alternative to a formal meeting. Consciously commute If you can decrease unnecessary commutes by allowing employees to work from home whenever it is possible and appropriate it can be a good idea to improve efficiency of work. The business bottom line will benefit when prioritizing your most valuable business resource- your successful and satisfied employees.
  • #59 Conclusions Coordination Team Work Efficiency Collaborating Don't Compare Yourself with anyone if you do so then you're insulting yourself!
