My school celebrates various events throughout the year. The school year begins in March and ends in November, with beginning and end of year acts held to celebrate. National ceremonies are organized by a student Act Commission and involve performances by students. Kindergarten celebrates Spring and Halloween with costume parties, while primary school holds talent shows and high school has breakfast celebrations and contests. A theatre gala is also held featuring performances by different grades on a chosen theme, with sixth year students organizing their own show. Drama headmaster Roberto was interviewed to provide more information about the various acts and galas held. Students worked collaboratively in groups assigned different topics to research and present the special events in a PowerPoint.

• Drama teachers choose a thematic, for example, Beauty and
the Beast and prepare a choreography.
• Students from 6th year organise their own show.
• Families are invited to enjoy the presentations.

10. How we worked for this project
• The teacher divided us into 4 groups and each one was
assigned a specific topic.
• To work with special events, we divided them and in the end
we unite them all in a Power Point presentation.
• At the end of each class we had to give the teacher the
written material for her to check and in the next class we
would correct our mistakes.
• We enjoyed working on IVO school’s events!
