India
– Main work- ‘Sidhdhant Shiromani’
which has 4 parts- ‘ Lilavati’
(Arithmatic) , ‘Beejaganita’ (
Algebra), ‘Grahaganita’ (
mathematics of planets) and
‘Goladhyaya’ ( spheres).
– Discovered principles of Calculus and
applied to astronomical problems
and computation.
