The Grant County Master Gardener Association holds an annual plant sale in May to raise funds for scholarships and community projects. Throughout the summer, master gardener volunteers lead garden tours. Each year, volunteers from Grant and Crawford counties attend the two-day WIMGA Annual Conference to hear speakers and visit vendors. The association also staffs educational booths at various events and sponsors workshops on topics like grape pruning and beekeeping. New volunteers are encouraged to get involved through these activities and can start the master gardener training process by visiting the provided website link.
