I had the privilege of working with Shawna for approximately 2 years and while we worked together on
many different projects she demonstrated many times what a dynamic person can achieve.
While I was President of the Marysville Downtown Business Association we had many challenges
working with a large group. Shawna provided me with positive solutions to the large number of issues
we faced working with a board and numerous committees. She remained energetic and helped even
when there was no personal gain for her.
Shawna’s hard work and determination was greatly appreciated and helped produce results in an area
that was choked by years of an ineffective group. With Shawna’s help we made a positive impact and
