I am pleased to recommend Andrew DeVries (Drew) for a position at your company. The
project management and tactical support experience that Drew gained while a project
assistant at Seyferth & Associates, Inc. from August through November 2008, as well as
his educational, other professional experience, and his interests in helping others and
sports have well prepared Drew to be an immediate contributor to your organization.
During his time at S&A, Drew provided valuable support for a variety of clients. One of
his key assignments involved leading the McDonald’s Street Team “Grab Your Greens”
program for the McDonald’s Owners Operators of Michigan group. Drew’s
responsibilities included coordinating other team members, driving the McDonald’s car
throughout Michigan to different festivals, parades, and community events and handing
out coupons for product sampling. These activities supported community building
programs to strengthen McDonald’s brand trust by promoting its healthy menu products.
Drew also provided assistance for event planning and management at West Michigan’s
first annual Regional Policy Conference and the grand opening of the Grand Rapids
Catholic Diocese’s new Cathedral Square campus, including a four-story Cathedral
Square Center. He’s a great team player and hard worker, whose attitude enabled him to
gain valuable knowledge and insight toward managing large events.
No task was too small for Drew. He had an enthusiastic attitude whether delivering the
mail and picking up copies of the daily newspapers or performing regular, daily tasks
such as gathering news coverage of our clients or performing client research.
I believe that Drew’s talents, interests, and attitude are a good organizational fit and
