All technical services for the UAM are conducted by Gradian-certified
engineers and technicians, who are supplied with replacement parts,
accessories, and consumables
 Remote Technical Support | Gradian hosts an international network of
biomedical engineers and technicians trained to offer remote technical support
for customers 24/7
 Repair | When equipment fails to perform properly, Gradian’s team of certified
engineers and technicians journey to point of use to restore machine
functionality. These visits are most productive through pre-visit communications
between Gradian service partners and end-users facing challenges.
 Preventative Maintenance | Gradian’s goal is to preempt equipment failures by
conducting annual in-person maintenance checks, and if and when repair needs
present, swiftly resolve them.

5. UAM Service & Maintenance: User Care & Maintenance
• Adhere to the daily user maintenance
procedures for the UAM and UAMV, which are
found in the user guides
• Use a voltage stabilizer between the UAM and
an electrical outlet to guard against power spikes
and brownouts
• Leave the UAM powered on to enable charging
for the patient monitor, oxygen analyzer and
ventilator
• Notify Gradian’s service network by phone or
email as soon as any product failures are
discovered
