are instruments used for obtaining q
uantities, dimension or forces of real
world objects. They are also tools us
ed to differentiate distances on partic
ular materials or objects.

It is also known as tapel

stretchable strip use

urements.
It measures 150 centim
eters in the front side
and 60 inches on the
other side.

It is a small ruler with a sliding guide
and is about six inches long, used t
o measure small hem areas and sh
ort distances like hem folds, pleats,
seam allowance, buttonholes, and
tucks.

This is the most common measuring
device usually 12 inches long. It is
used for general marking. It aids in
connecting lines.

or meter.
