Conclusion: From our research into music videos
by the Libertines and The Strokes we learnt that
indie music is often associated with drunken, anti-
social behaviour as well as drug taking. We
don’t feel that this is a particularly positive image
to be presenting and so our characters will not be
shown in this way.
More positively, indie music videos are seen to be
original and creative, more so than other genres
and so we feel using an Indie song would give us
a wider creative scope.
