A compilation that features art-
works I have completed through-
out my studies. I have invested
time, energy, and effort into my
tasks.
From that, I have learned more
about my design potentials. My
learning journey section displays
the growth and the progress that
I have made till date.
ABOUT ME
My name is Goh Wen Li and I am currently taking my
Diploma in Graphic Design. I live with my family of six.
My friends would describe me as easy going and a
good listener.
I am a hard-working individual with great attention to
detail. I've gained great time management abilities
that enable me to work on many tasks at the same
time.
MY PASSION
My hobbies and interest are Photography, watching
movies, cooking, shopping. Those are the way that let
me relax after a busy week it also can help me be more
creative in other aspects of life.
MY INSPIRATIONS
Drew Struzan is the person who
inspired me. He has designed a
lot of painted album covers,
movie posters, and book covers.
The most artwork I like is the
Harry potter movie poster.
LEARNING JOURNEY
Photography
I have learned about the DSLR, shutter speed, ISO, composition,
focus, light, photo processing, and equipment. By mastering
these skills, I am now able to take better pictures. Photography
inspires me to enjoy life and celebrate the moments.
Photography may be used creatively for a product, or to take
images for advertising. It can be a vital role in the success of the
advertisement.

Packaging Design
Our packaging lecturer always pushed us to be creative not
only in packaging but also in designing. I learned that pack-
aging should be designed in such a manner that the product
may be easily transported from one location to another and
handled by customers.
The package size and form should also be easy for shops to
keep in their stores or for consumers to keep at home. There-
fore, the function of packaging containment, security, conve-
nience, and communication are all important factors. .

Web Design
I learned about the layout of design Images, typography,
colors, text, negative space, and structure come together
offering not only a user experience but a conduit for
communicating ideas. It was originally challenging to modify
and arrange the product image and content, as well as create
the design for navigation and other features.

I've improved my knowledge and abilities in using design tools
such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
as a result of these computer graphic design subjects
These lessons have improved my skills in using photo editing and
painting programs, as well as my basic computer and technical
skills.

I began researching for further
ideas for this final project, which
was to create a Chinese New Year
card. The colors of the greeting
card are mainly red and yellow.
Therefore, the rat represents the
year of the rat. The Chinese fan
element was sometimes entire ro-
mantic poem and represent
wealth and longevity.

In Computer Graphic Design 2, I
used Adobe Photoshop to create
this artwork. I acquired skills in
editing and manipulating images,
creating digital artworks, and
many more.

magazines. This improved my
ability to arrange layouts and
create a visual hierarchy so that
readers or audiences could read
things more easily.

SUCCESS STORY
Advertising 1: Tealive Print Ads
The color applied in this printed
advertisement is based on the
brand Tealive to strengthen the
recognition towards the consum-
ers. Larger font size of the
number ‘1’ is used to grab the
consumers’ attention at the first
sight. My friends think that it is
good because the drinks are the
main subject; able to catch their
attention. Besides that, the
layout design is special too.

  • 3. ABOUT ME My name is Goh Wen Li and I am currently taking my Diploma in Graphic Design. I live with my family of six. My friends would describe me as easy going and a good listener. I am a hard-working individual with great attention to detail. I've gained great time management abilities that enable me to work on many tasks at the same time.
  • 4. MY PASSION My hobbies and interest are Photography, watching movies, cooking, shopping. Those are the way that let me relax after a busy week it also can help me be more creative in other aspects of life.
  • 5. MY INSPIRATIONS Drew Struzan is the person who inspired me. He has designed a lot of painted album covers, movie posters, and book covers. The most artwork I like is the Harry potter movie poster.
  • 7. Photography I have learned about the DSLR, shutter speed, ISO, composition, focus, light, photo processing, and equipment. By mastering these skills, I am now able to take better pictures. Photography inspires me to enjoy life and celebrate the moments. Photography may be used creatively for a product, or to take images for advertising. It can be a vital role in the success of the advertisement.
  • 9. Packaging Design Our packaging lecturer always pushed us to be creative not only in packaging but also in designing. I learned that pack- aging should be designed in such a manner that the product may be easily transported from one location to another and handled by customers. The package size and form should also be easy for shops to keep in their stores or for consumers to keep at home. There- fore, the function of packaging containment, security, conve- nience, and communication are all important factors. .

Web Design I learned about the layout of design Images, typography, colors, text, negative space, and structure come together offering not only a user experience but a conduit for communicating ideas. It was originally challenging to modify and arrange the product image and content, as well as create the design for navigation and other features.

  • 18. Advertising 1: Tealive Print Ads The color applied in this printed advertisement is based on the brand Tealive to strengthen the recognition towards the consum- ers. Larger font size of the number ‘1’ is used to grab the consumers’ attention at the first sight. My friends think that it is good because the drinks are the main subject; able to catch their attention. Besides that, the layout design is special too.
