2. INTRODUCTION
Godavari Fertilisers And Chemicals Ltd is a Public
incorporated on 17 December 1981.
It is classified as Non-govt company and is registered at
Registrar of Companies, Hyderabad.
In 1984. The company was jointly promoted by Andhra
Pradesh Government and the Indian Farmers Fertilisers
Co-operatives.
(GFCL), jointly promoted by the government of Andhra
Pradesh and Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd
(IFFCO)

synthetic, which supplies one or more of the

Purpose of Fertilizers:-
To supplement what has been eaten up by the plants.
To give an additional supply of tonic and good food,
so that they may grow more healthy and produce a
better yield.
They help to maintain the PH value of the soil in the
vicinity of 7 to 8 and thereby facilitate optimum
growth and health

5. Product Description
The use of organic manures (farmyard manure, compost,
green manure, etc.) is the oldest and most widely
practised means of nutrient replenishment in India.
Prior to the 1950s, organic manures were almost the only
sources of soil and plant nutrition.
So Cattle account for 90 percent of total manure
production. The proportion of cattle manure available for
fertilizing purposes decreased from 70 percent in the
early 1970s to 30 percent in the early 1990s.
So Coromandel took the initiative to introduce Godavari
Gold to meet the organic manure needs of the farming
community.
