Inter-blockchains allow for the exchange and movement of cryptocurrencies across different blockchain networks. This enables cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin to be swapped for Ethereum or moved to networks like Ethereum, Stellar, or EOS. Currently, cryptocurrencies cannot move between blockchains and are restricted to a single network, limiting their usage. Inter-blockchains provide a solution by using an intermediary network that allows cryptocurrencies to maintain their value even when moved or exchanged between blockchains.
