3. AT
Static (non-movement) verbs and places
For example:
 At work/ home/ cinema
 Arrive at work
 At the end of the street
 At the bus-stop

4. TO
Verbs of movement (go, come, drive, get[arrive], etc)
For example:
 Go to school
 Get to work
 Walk to the park
Never with ‘home’ – go home, drive home, walk home,
etc
Never with ‘visit’ – she visited Colombia

5. ON
With directions
For example:
 On the left
 On the right
 Straight on

6. Giving directions
 Take the first/second/third road on the left/right.
 It’s on the left/right.
 Turn left/right.
 Go straight on (until you see X)
