This document proposes establishing a Social Impact Fund in Mongolia focused on investing in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that have social and environmental impacts. It notes that while Mongolia has experienced rapid economic growth, not all citizens have benefited, and there are pressing issues around poverty, access to basic needs, and the environment. The fund aims to address these social needs by encouraging investment in viable SMEs, with the objectives of recommending a $50-70 million fund and investing in SMEs that have social and environmental impacts. It also introduces TenGer Capital as a potential partner due to its experience in Mongolia's financial sector.
