Giant squid are the largest invertebrates in the world, capable of reaching 20 meters in length and weighing up to 1,000 kg. They have eight tentacles, one sucker, one eye, a siphon, fins, and a long mantle. Giant squid live in deep ocean waters and can swim fast at speeds up to 2.5 meters per second using their eight tentacles. Their diet consists of fish and other species found at deep ocean depths.
