This document summarizes the results of a study comparing conventional injection molding technology to RocTool technology using two different spiral mold thicknesses. The RocTool technology achieved significantly longer flow lengths and lower pressure drops between sensors compared to the conventional technology, especially at a mold temperature of 200C versus 90C. Graphs and data tables show improvements in flow length of up to 57.5% and pressure drop reductions of up to 48.4% when using the RocTool technology versus conventional methods.
