We herewith declare that Mr. D.J.J. Bomers born on 04.07.1968, was employed by SAP Netherlands
from the 01.07.1998 until the 01.02.2015.
Within this timeframe, Dion has performed tasks within the role Translation project manager.
Dion’s main tasks as a translation project manager was to manage translation services for our
internal customers in time and quality. This comprised
 Preparation and execution of complex translation projects of various types (overall
scheduling, budget monitoring, communication with all stakeholders, compliance with all
procedures and quality control)
 Translation projects up to 40 languages
 Conception, planning and execution of non-standard translation projects in close alignment
with customer
 Coordination and organization of quality assurance measures
 Problem analysis, process improvement measures and development of process standards
 Creation of process documentation
 Knowledge transfer and onboarding of new colleagues
We have experienced Dion to be a committed, reliable and independent project manager, who met
constantly changing demands open-mindedly. Dion is, beside his project management skills,
especially gifted in testing and process documentation. Dion combines good specialist skills with
strong communication skills and a very good understanding of service and customer focus. Although
Dion was working remotely from the Netherlands with a team of project managers in Germany and
abroad, he integrated well into the team und used virtual collaboration media regularly and
effectively. Dion is aware of intercultural differences and collaborates confidently in both virtual and
global contexts. When we had to communicate to Dion that SAP will close the translation
department in the Netherlands, he chose to not take a garden leave but to continue working until
the end of the contract. It impressed us a lot.
