Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

It’s your choice. In today’s economy, I’m sure there are many people who wish they had a plan B before this down economy hit. Congratulations, for making the smart decision. You may be like me, Arbonne was originally a plan “B” and became my Plan “A”.Ground floor 30 plus year old company with huge growth potential and stability.: Products for the entire family; skin care, cosmetics, nutrition, weight management, detoxing, aromatherapy, and spa: Generous and lucrative compensation plan: Network Marketing is a fast growing industry. Whether you work PT or FT - you want to work consistently.Working your business – sometimes creates a hobby. If you do it just sometimes, it’s just a hobby.
NEXT 3 SLIDES – SOME OF YOUR KEY ARBONNE TOOLSIt is important to know what sets us apart from other products in the industry. The first few pages in your catalog explains what makes Arbonne a prestige premium Swiss product. At some point you’ll get quizzed on questions that your clients may ask you. These questions will be addressed in the catalogue. By reading and studying your catalog you will feel confident when sharing and answering questions about how to use the products, ingredients and set specials.
When you are sharing about the products – Talk benefits vs. ingredients. Use you Catalogue to help you.Tell storiesAvoid getting into discussions on ingredients Always refer them to the catalogue or the websiteDon’t feel like you have to answer all the questions on ingredientsArbonne products are the result of 3 decades of research and development by world leading biochemists, biologists and herbalists.Have confidence in the productThis is “conversational marketing” not a sales pitch
Open your calendars and read the statement of purpose (suggestion: ask a consultant to read out loud)Turn to the page with the Upline information and have them fill out at the workshop.Explain the importance of Arbonne Management Tools (calendar and Activity Tracker) and ask them to watch the DVD within the next few days.Show them that the calendar contains the Activity Tracker and that they will be using this daily and will fully understand how it works after they watch the DVD.Ask them to make a commitment to call their upline/sponsor in the next few days to schedule a coaching session to review phone techniques.Talk about upline. You have a sponsor and above her/him you will have District Manager, Area Manager, Regional VP and then a National VP. You should make sure you have the name, phone number and email for each. They are all part of your upline and will help you. If you have a question or need help and your sponsor is not around or doesn’t know, keep going up.
You will be learning how to navigate the website as you put in orders and sign up preferred clients and business consultants.Go to arbonne.com Choose CountryType in ID# and Pin#Click on “Internet Consultants”Order Products on LineClick on “Internet Consultants” and then “Shop on Line”3.Monthly Campaigns and PromotionsProduct Promotions will be found on first page of “online ordering”Consultant incentives and campaigns will be on first page of “internet consultants and under events”4.Download FormsClick on Tools, Printed Media, Download Forms5. NOW WE ARE GOING TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT THE SUPPORT WE HAVE IN PLACEWhen new people start a NWM business, the challenge is not motivation, it is CONFIDENCE.Confidence you are going to do or say the right things.Confidence that the people you sponsor will be successfulConfidence you will achieve success. What you will learn through coaching on the basic skills:How everyone can succeedHow to create 100% confidence that you can succeedWhat you are going to learn:Knowledge – what you need to knowSkills – what you need to doAttitudes – how you need to think
Your first goal is to get people to engage in a conversation about what they do for an occupation. Have them tell you what they love about it.Be sincerely interested in other people. Ask people what they do for a living. They will then ask you what you do. If not, you can say….“I’m glad you love what you do. I do too. I have my own business. I love it because I positively change lives every day and as a bonus…..business is booming.” What is your business? "It's anti-aging and wellness- that's why it's booming.“ One of the best ways to get someone to ask you what you do is by asking them “what they do.”Take yourself out of this business – this business is not about you!We share this opportunity and we let others make their own decision.Go out and do the things you do on a daily basis. You will meet people everywhere. Give complements to people, strike up conversations about something you have in common, be polite, look your best so that you get compliments and see how many people you can get to ask you “What Do You Do”.“Think about how can I meet two friends a day!!The next step after they ask – what do you do is to tell them what you do – next slideRole Play “What Do You Do” first then go to the next slide for “what is it” Role Play - groups of 3 Consultant – Prospect – someone to give feedback – practice again – rotate (during quick start you may only be able to do it once.
Role Play “What Do You Do?” I have my own business and it’s booming! Really, what is it? It is anti-aging and wellness, that’s why it’s booming. No one wants to age and most can’t afford to be sick. They want to look and feel good for as long as they can. What kind of anti-aging and wellness is it? I market a Swiss line of personal care and wellness products that people absolutely love. It’s called Arbonne. Have you heard of it?Then you can exchange cards, offer a sample, get the phone number, or schedule an appointment.Role Play - groups of 3 Consultant – Prospect – someone to give feedback – practice again – rotate (during quick start you may only be able to do it once.
THIS IS NOT A ROLE PLAY IT IS AN EXERCISEYOU WILL ALSO WANT TO CREATE A 3 MINUTE “WHY” STORY. THAT YOU CAN SHARE WITH PEOPLE. Just go over with them quickly things to include in their story, plant seeds, make it something that people can relate to.Practice conversational marketing (include pauses)You should have both a business story and a product story or create one that covers both. When you put together your story make sure you use words with punch. Example: Become a Master Story Teller. The perfect story is 3 minutes or less.Make sure and let your emotion and passion into your story. Have group answer the questions on the slide to start an outline for their story: Another good question to ask? How were you introduced to Arbonne.a) How was I introduced to Arbonne - a 5 day anti-aging sample pack - fell in love with the products - everything before Arbonne irritated my skin - couldn't wait to share it with my friendsb) Before I joined Arbonne I …..worked as a slave in corp. America and left my son with teachers and camp directors to raisec) What I love most about Arbonne …..it has empowered me - my time, my skin, my finances and I get to share with other women - what it can do for themd) The reason I am excited about Arbonne……it changes people's lives - product changes skin the income opportunity change your life.YOU WILL WANT TO START WORKING ON YOUR STORY AND ROLE PLAY IT WITH YOUR SPONSOR – PRACTICE IT WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

You tell others about what you use and love.Become a product of the product. What do people see when they look in your bathroom?Teach others how to take care of themselves and their family with the product line. Show them how to improve health by improving nutrient absorption (HL program), lowering toxins (correct personal care products/detoxing), getting hormonally balanced (hormonal support/progesterone) and by relieving stress (spa products/relaxing).Point out that the products that they are most likely buying right now – shampoo, lotions, shaving cream, shakes, children’s bath products, vitamins. They can now buy from their own store at a better price and build their residual income by helping others do the same. What are two things you love about each product you use. What are your favorites? The ones you couldn’t live without.
As we go through the workshop today be thinking about what you want to create in your business. You most likely went over the Success Triangle (our business summary) and did a personal strategy session with your Upline. If you have not done that you will want to do that in the next few days.

“If you are running out of time they will practice this skill with their upline” Choose someone on your list to invite to your first workshops for this role play.Role Play – Live workshop: groups of 3 – consultant, person they are inviting, person giving observing and giving feedback. If this is on the phone do a role play with them.Role Play-inviting to presentations and actually doing a presentationRole Play - phone-sit back to backInviting someone to Your First Few Groups/Workshops-You can also insert your why rather it is excitement about the products or the business."Hello ______. This is _______. You have been on my mind for the past week. Do you have a quick minute? The reason I am calling you is because I am so excited about something new that I have just gotten involved with. I have started my own business with Arbonne International. Have you heard of it? (Pause - let them reply). You were on the top of my list to invite because I know you take great care of yourself and I knew that you would want to know about this cutting edge product." I'm doing two Ultimate Facial (or Healthy Living or Wellness or Catalog) workshops to launch my business. We will be trying the best Anti-Aging and wellness products on the market that night. It will be a fun girls night out. It would mean so much to me if you were there. I have two dates for the workshops next week and I would love to reserve a space for you at one of them. What works best for you morning or evening? We covered the 4 steps: opening, the disarming, permission, the reason. Let’s say they can’t come for some reason or they say “no I ‘m busy and I won’t be able to come and truthfully, I’m so busy these days I’m not spending much time taking care of my skin”.“I understand, before I go, may I ask you one quick question? (Pause)“If you could change one thing about your skin (or health…if health is the topic then change up the following verbiage a bit), what would it be?(what is going to be revealed is a need or potential motivation.) pause – let them answer. So your skin (health) is okay but you don’t have time to take care of it? Is that right?“You are exactly the kind of person that would love this workshop. We are going to show you how 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes in the evening will change your skin forever (or by taking a few extra moments in a day, you can improve your weight, energy, hormones, and hormonone forever.) Give you the skin you want and deserve. If you are sure you can’t come …… (give them time to reply) then maybe we can set up a time where I can meet you one on one. What would be best for you? Then go to sample if they still are too busy….then end the call. End on a good note – ask – “would it be okay if I invite you to something in the future when your schedule slows down.” Or, “would you be willing to pamper yourself with a 5 day anti-aging treatment and give me your opinion if I put it in the mail for you?”We have covered: the objection, checkmate question, checkmate close
We are proud of Arbonne’s integrity. It is a key issue that sets us apart from many other companies and it comes straight from the top - Kay Napier. When you meet someone who has already been exposed to Arbonne, it’s your responsibility to ask if they have a consultant who they are currently working with.Make a point to study the Policies and Procedures manual immediately. Think of it as your “Arbonne Bible”.
Self-explanatory
Remember, you are looking for those who are looking for more in their life. Not everyone will do what it takes. Not everyone will take action. You be the one with the vision. This doesn’t happen overnight. If you stick with it and manage your expectations you have every chance of succeeding. The only way you can fail or lose is to quit. Inch by inch it’s a cinch. Yard by yard it’s hard.Keep your head in the game, your eye on the ball and invite those who said I’m going to watch to your “Car Presentation”.
This is your homework
Remember:The most important thing right now is not how well you do it. We will coach you so that you can learn the skills you need to succeed. What is most important: is that you have a “dream/reason why” and that you commit and are willing to learn the skills you need to succeed. You’ll do that through coaching and practicing. And the great news is: you will make money along the way. “It’s called earn while you learn.”
