Top 10 ways to improve your spiritual healthDaniel Harper
Majority of our population rarely notice the significance of spiritual health in our daily lives. For those people, a healthy physique is enough, a sound mind is okay, and lack of spiritual health doesn’t really matter. Most of us aren’t aware of the state of our spiritual health or the importance of its role in our whole well-being.
10 Ways to Overcome Our Daily Struggles, A Guide For Christian WomenBrenda Silveira
Life is hard and many of us focus on our problems instead of trying to find solutions. Women especially struggle because the world puts high expectations on us and tries to make us believe the lie that we aren't good enough and our problems define who we are. When we put our focus on God and allow Him to help us, we can overcome our struggles and find peace despite our circumstances.
All I ask is that you take your time reading this book, take it all in at your own pace, and try not to get overwhelmed, as there are several ways you can do things when it comes to living a life with holistic wellness. There is no right or wrong way to think about what you feel you are most comfortable doing.
This is something I felt the need to share because of the times we are currently living in. Now being in my early sixties, and given time to reflect, I believe it will be helpful to the world.
All that’s left now is for you to go through this guide and decide what path you want to take, then give it a go!
My sincere prayer is that you will find this information helpful in giving you some clarity and an enlightening purpose for your life that will be beneficial to not only you, but your family and community as well.
Take 15 - 45 minutes to brain dump everything you can think of on a blank sheet of paper.
This is where you can first start to utilize the benefits of writing in your journal. Your journal is your private place to write down your thoughts to help organize your life, clear your head, and prioritize your thoughts and plan your life, before you go to your planner to schedule your day accordingly.
In particular, writing what you may have just dreamed about the night before. Start your day with the focus of an eagle by writing out everything that’s in your heart and mind.
Because we’re so busy with everything in life as a whole, we can get overwhelmed and stressed out. Brain dumping will help out greatly in this regard.
Because brain dumping clears your mind. Recording all of your thoughts and feelings someplace else allows you to get it out of your head, to stop thinking about it. The entire process also helps you determine which thoughts, feelings, and ideas are important and which ones you can let go of.
“Mental health” refers to your overall psychological well-being. It includes the way you feel about yourself, the quality of your relationships, and your ability to manage your feelings and deal with difficulties.
Anyone can experience mental or emotional health problems — and over a lifetime, many of us will. I believe I read somewhere that one in five adults in the western world live with mental health or substance abuse problems.
Even if that is not precisely so, we can all agree that there are too many people who unfortunately experience these difficulties.
Here are 10 tips that can help you elevate your mood, become more resilient, and enjoy life more: make social connections; stay active; talk to someone; appeal to your senses; take up a relaxation practice; make leisure and contemplation a priority; talk to someone; Eat a brain-healthy diet to support strong mental health; don’t skimp on sleep; find purpose and meaning for your life; and get help if you need it.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
2. Here are some ideas: How can you maintain peace of mind in today's fast-paced world without falling behind or getting run over by the pack?
3. Set priorities and goals. 1 Without meaningful goals you will never be truly successful in life, no matter how much money you earn or how great a name you make for yourself.
4. Be wise; prioritize. Success starts in the heart. When priorities and motives are right, you're halfway there. Keep things in perspective. Don't let little inconveniences become big annoyances that sap your inspiration and strength.
5. Slow down and take time to rest and relax. 2 There will always be deadlines, pressures, and work. If you let those things run your life, you'll never find time to relax and enjoy life. You must stop everything periodically and connect with the source—God —to get recharged, or you will run out of power.
6. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Pace yourself. Better to take regular times of rest than to risk a breakdown. No matter how important your work is, it's not as important as your health and spiritual well-being. After creating the universe, God rested from His labor, and He tells us to do likewise.
7. Don't get caught in the materialism trap. 3 Material things may temporarily satisfy the body, but only God and His love can truly satisfy the spirit. The truest wealth is measured in the things that money can't buy.
8. Some people own things, and some people's things own them. At best, material success will last till the day you die; love lasts for eternity!
9. Take time for people. 4 Make people your priority, and the best things in life will come to you.
10. Start the day with love, Take the preferences, needs, personalities, and limitations of those you work with into consideration. All you need to be a world changer is love, because love changes everything it touches. and love will carry you through the day. That will go a long way in reducing stress and friction, two archenemies of happiness.
11. Stay positive and cheerful. 5 To get the most from every day, look for the good in every situation. Success starts with a successful attitude. Train your mind to look beyond obstacles, disappointments, setbacks, and even failures.
12. A smile is the lighting system of the face and the heating system of the heart. Laughter relaxes you physically and refreshes you mentally and emotionally by putting your problems in perspective.
13. Give your cares and problems to God. 6 Prayer can lift you up on the wings of God's Spirit to where you can see the big picture more clearly. Prayer is meant to be like talking to your closest friend on the telephone. You talk to God, you listen, and together you sort things out.
14. God can give you solutions that will make problems that loom as large as mountains melt away.
15. Maintain a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle. 7 An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. It's better to stay healthy than to have to be healed. The best way to prevent illness is to obey God's natural laws: Live right, eat right, work right, play right, rest right, love right, and maintain a right relationship with Him.
16. Take time to enjoy life. What you take in mentally and spiritually is as important to your overall well-being as what you eat. God made every good thing for you to enjoy in moderation, and He created the senses with which to enjoy them. If life is full of headaches, perhaps you've been filling your head with the wrong stuff.
