Laura is a 20-year-old English teacher from Medellin, Colombia who is currently studying at university to become a foreign language teacher. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, reading, spending time with friends and family, and improving her English skills. She has two pet dogs named Mahler and Luna. As a child, she wanted to be a famous singer and actress. Now, her passion is teaching English to kids and helping others fall in love with the language as much as she has. Her final message to students is to pursue their studies and personal lives with passion and dedication for positive results.

1. Hello! How are you? Could you please give us your name, your age and where are you from?
Hello, i’m very good and you? Of course, i’d like to introduce myself, my name is Laura Arteaga, i am
20 years old and i’m from Medellin, Colombia.
2. Laura very nice to meet you! I’m Tom and this interview is for us to meet you better. What do you
do for living?
Is very nice to meet you Tom. Right now, i’m studying at the university Licenciatura en lenguas
extranjeras, and also being a teacher for kids.

3. 3. That’s very nice Laura, and what do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time i like to dance, read books, watching tv, spend time with my friends and
family, and improve my English.
4. That sounds very interesting Laura! Can you tell us more about you? Do you have any
pets?
Yes Tom! I do have pets! I have two dogs and they are called Mahler and Luna. When i was
a kid i didn’t have any pet and i used to say that my pet were the cockroach around the
house.

4. 5. That is so funny to Heard Laura! What did you wanted to be when you grow up when you were a kid?
I wanted to be a famous singer and actress. Now, i enjoy teaching to kids English, i’m in love with this language
and i want people to get in love with this language as much as i am.
