Germany is the second most populated country in central Europe after
Russia and many immigrants live and study in Germany.It shares borders
with 9 countries
Denmark,Poland,Austria,Switzerland,France,Luxembourg,Belgium and the
Netherlands.
Germany's central and southern regions have
forested hills and mountains cut through by
the Danube, Main, and Rhine river valleys. In
the north, the landscape is flat with a wide
plain that stretches to the North Sea.
Germany's largest wooded area, and its most famous, is in the southwest near
the Swiss border. This is the Black Forest, a mountainous region full of pines
and fir trees. This forest contains the source of the Danube, one of Europe's
longest rivers.

The weather in Germany is very
varied, and is different from one
region to the next. In the winter, it
can be very cold, especially in the
south, where there are big
mountains called the Alps.
The weather in the summer can get
pretty hot in all parts of Germany.
In the capital, Berlin, there are

Spree river for people to relax in
the sun.

Reichstag , in Cologne the Cathedral.Many people also visit the
Oktoberfest (a famous beer festival) and the castle of
Neuschwanstein.
