The Slavery Of African Americans
Some people I met asked me that we Africans sold other Africans into slavery and why? I will
tell them well I was not born when it happened, I only learn about slavery in school not even my
parents told me so I cannot provide you with genuine reason behind slavery but I do understand
this that it may have some economic benefits attached to it and that is a fact, the world back then
was like survival of the fittest, slavery was rampant all over the world and not only black
Africans were enslaved, many ethnicities and nationalities some Europeans like Irish and
Jewish have been enslaved too. I could have avoided questions like this, but since many of this
questions are directed to me from African Americans, I do my best to be honest with them about
the little knowledge that I know. You must not hold grudge against me because my ancestors
sold your people into slavery, and I must also not avoid your questions even if i feel guilty about
the role of my people during slavery. I was not responsible for it and neither of my parents. You
must not be imprisoned with victim mentality of the whole slavery thing I told him and he was
like wow I like that. I told him that is why it is nice to talk about things because I do not know your
mindset I cannot read it but I can wrongly judge it based on my personal observations. He said this
country is racist and I must be careful because I am a black man. I said really, he said yes!! I said
why he repeated because America is racist. I told

The Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act
Introduction:
The Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act in 1976 established a basic on which to build
upon for Aboriginal peoples, for the first time, they have the to right to claim land based on their
traditional culture. The Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act was the first attempt by
any Australian Government to legalize the Aboriginal systems and land ownership. This Act
allowed for Aboriginal peoples to practice their traditional ways, which had not been allowed since
the white settlers had come to Australia and taken away that right over 200 years ago. The land that
is granted to the Aboriginal people cannot be bought, acquired, mortgaged or compulsory acquired
by the government.

The Texas General Land Office
The Texas General Land Office or TGLO, has many responsibilities throughout the state of Texas.
Their main responsibility is to earn funds for the Permanent School Fund. The main way that
they raise money for this goal is by leasing out the land that has been set aside for this purpose.
The Texas General Land Office has around 700,000 acres for this purpose. This land is usually
leased for the production of oil and gas, development of commercial property, agriculture and
renewable energyprojects. This fund was created to raise money for Texasschools and was created
when Texas became a country in 1836.
The organizations other responsibilities include the preservation of the state s history, the
conservation of state resources, surveying the land within the state, providing veterans with land
and housing, maintaining the Alamo and veteran cemeteries in the state. They also educate the
public about environmental problems on the coast and how to prevent them. They also monitor the
coast for any oil spills and are there to help clean them up when they do happen. The TGLO
achieves this goal by being split into five different divisions. These are the history and archives
division, the energy and minerals division, the state lands division, the caring for the coast division,
and the veterans land board division. The history and archives division is responsible for
maintaining the records and maps of the state throughout its history. They also maintain all the

The Long Road Of Gettysburg
The Long Road To Gettysburg Jim Murphy wrote a book called the Long Road To Gettysburg. It
is a nonfiction book. It has 109 pages. The two main characters are General Robert E. Lee for the
South and General Meade for the North. Other minor characters include General Joseph Hooker
of the North and General John Dooley of the South. This book teaches you the Horrors of
Gettysburg. The theme is violence is never the answer. In the beginning it all started with an idea
that Robert E lee proposed. It stated that they spring a surprise attack in Pennsylvania. Everybody
agreed to this idea because all the battles before had happened on southern soil. So, they started
marching.THey marched about 10 miles each day. They did this for about 8 days. They marched
From Virginia to Pennsylvania. The North found out about the planned attack and began to march
towards the South. They eventually met up in a small farm town in Pennsylvania called
Gettysburg. This would later be the same soil in which 40,000 Americans lay wounded or dead.
Little did they know this would be the bloodiest battle in American history. After that, they
commenced in an intense battle. They fought in many places such as Cemetery Hill, Culp s Hill,
Little Round Top, Big Round Top, Devil s Den, the Peach Orchard and many more locations. The

The Importance Of Student Achievements For The Arizona...
Student achievement is the number one priority for the Arizona Virtual Schools. I have learned that
one person cannot drive the vision. Instead, it takes all stakeholders to create a unified plan to
support all learners. Feedback must be obtained from families regarding the accessibility and
understanding of the online curriculum, the teachers must provide input on the alignment and
additional needs based on studentperformance data on interim assessments, and the administration
team must look at annual performance on the state assessment and other system wide needs.
Further, data must be used to determine student readiness upon graduation to enter into college and
the workforce, and what additional supports and services the school... Show more content on

Within an online environment, staff can often feel isolated and in a silo, along with their students
behind a screen. However, Kelly has identified ways to bring in the faculty, families, students, and
communities into the school and has created a tight knit community. Starting with establishing a
healthy staff culture, Kelly and her administrative team has developed a monthly calendar, around
the state and has provided open invitations to school staff to meet for coffee. Each administrator
will create a public forum for teachers to come, meet and discuss their ideas, concerns or needs and
most importantly, just be there to listen. Since establishing these frequent, open forums, teacher
satisfaction survey results have shown an 11% increase in year over year satisfaction. She has
taught me, by taking time to get to know her team, listen to their ideas and concerns, and be human,
it has helped her eliminate some of the disengagement of staff members.
Similarly, Kelly saw this need among her students. Over the past year, Kelly has opened six
blended learning sites throughout the state, where students, families and the community can come
in, work with teachers, talk to staff and have a real connection with the school (see Appendix I,
ribbon cutting for the blended site). In addition, Kelly shown me that additional outreach can be

How Does Masculinity Affect Young Men Today
With life being as challenging as it is, it seems to be that it is only revolving around the challenges
that women face, but you can t forget that men also go through the same challenges. With
everything on the news and current media being about feminism people often forget that men also
have problems and deal with hardships like anyone else. This leads me to say that one of the main
troubles that young men have today is how society defines masculinity. Society plays a huge role in
a young mans life due to all the social media outputs so how all these outputs portray masculinity is
a huge problem for the young men of today.
To begin with, the way society portrays masculinity is in a sort of fashion that oppresses young
men by not only making

Doctor Strange, a very strange movie indeed, and if you like mystery, magic, and a multiverse
with different dimensions then this is the right movie for you. Doctor Strange is part of the Marvel
universe, which includes Thor, Captain America, Hulk, and Iron Man. While the Avengers protect
the world from physical threats, this movie takes us to a whole new level of mystical threats, much
more dangerous than the threats within our world itself, consisting of very powerful characters and
ancient magic. We are introduced to a much bigger reality which we learn is also protected by a

very enjoyable. There was a lot of nice architectural designs and different ideas of unique universes

that pulls you in and puts you in a certain mood depending on the situation, whether it was
dramatic or a certain plot twist. Overall, they did a great job producing this film and the special

shows that women are represented a disproportionately higher rate than males in positions that pay
an hourly rate, while men are represented at the higher salaried management positions (Drogin,

finds that there is a link between training and expect organizational and human resource outcomes.
Research find that that companies that conduct training are more likely to have more positive
human resource outcomes and greater performance outcomes (Noe, 2013, p. 234). By determining
who needs training, the skills and knowledge that needs to be taught, and the timeframe the training
needs to be completed in, the training can be tailored to meet the needs of the company as well as
its employees. Organizational analysis involves determining the appropriateness of training, given
the company s business strategy, its resources available for training, and support by managers and
peers for training activities (Noe, 2013, p. 114). Organizational analysis has determined that
retraining needs to occur in several key areas. Training will be given to managers, on improving

Summary Of The Post American World
In the book The Post American World, by Fareed Zakaria, he spoke of the three economical shifts
in the world throughout history. Each one of these shifts has changed the world drastically, with
political, culture, and of course, economical differences in every country in the world. What
Zakaria had brought to my attention very early in the book was that we are currently living through
the third economical shift right now. To be honest, I had never really thought about where the world
was heading, and if I hadn t read this book, I would ve thought that the United Stateswould remain
the main superpower in the world and the rest of the world would sort of stay at their current
status. Poor countries would remain poor, and every developed country... Show more content on

As these countries adopt certain programs from the United States and improve them to make the
benefits better to help people gain more money, to grow their economies, America is being left
in the dust. As he says in the interview with BBC. The United States needs to reboot, and make
changes in its health care, pensions, social security, and energy (BBC, Zakaria). As the United
States is for the first time in a long time subject to a change in the world rather than making that
change, the United States will have to make some major changes to either keep up or get ahead
of the other rising countries. As Zakaria describes these possible changes it would literally change
life in the U.S that we have now, but change it for the better. This is shown by Zakaria s
confidence in the U.S to always do what has to be done, no matter what the circumstances.

From this book Zakaria has taught me and all of of his other readers that big changes are
coming. That history as we know it is slowly being rewritten as we know it. That what was seen
as impossible even 10 years ago is a reality and we are living through it, how exciting! The United
States won t be the main superpower of the world, countries we would never expect to rise
economically are rising the superpower penthouse is growing. Zaharia believes this Post American

A Speech On The Dark Side
I was in a poor mood the moment I opened my eyes. Not only did I have a headache, my dad left
the house early. I knew where he had snuck off to and I should finally realize there was no use
raising my hopes. He will never keep his promise no matter how much I fool myself into
believing his lies. He was addicted to gambling and no amount of hearing his hollow words about
quitting will ever happen. The one button he always pushes is when he says his little problem is

this excuse and counted with it didn t matter in the end because all of them can get you put into the

How could it not be with my father always at the track and me at my part time jobs and going to
afternoon, night, and weekend classes at the local community college? I did burn out a few
lightbulbs studying several nights in a roll before exams, but my books had my attention more than
the TV in the living room that was collecting dust. A single lightbulb use less electric then the boob
tube. I was also fortunate that my part time jobs gave me numerous opportunities to study. I
worked at the exit gate of the parking lot at the mall during the day when there were very few
shoppers. Because of gas fumes you could only work so many days in a row. I also worked at
the local condiment plant as quantity control. That job had me checking all outgoing shipments
heading north. It was always the smallest orders with the shortest routes, but it was the one that
had the most complaints of missing items (until I started doing the quantity control). The job
was simple. Once an order for the trucks are counted and tagged for each supermarket on the
trucker s route is done, there is nothing left to do until the Loadmaster call me over to check on
the next shipment. Oh, but there was one more. My last part time job was working at a bookstore
as a cashier during the day. It s not unusual for someone working at a book store to see them nose
deep into a book. The benefit working this particular job is that no one bothered you unless they

triumphs and struggles and yet unique it many ways.

This in no way undermines the work and effort of the others. It only helps to point out exemplary
performance just that one extra mile. I believe one of the best indication for good work is when
children and parents come with a request end of the year (which happens often) that we want the
same teacher next year.(recent example). This gesture itself is a reward for a teacher. And for the
school, when children continue. It shows all is well or almost all is well .
Thank you for your continued trust and faith. Let me now invite our stalwarts Siddesh and Sakshi

Essay On Superintendent
REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE
Introduction
Preparing teachers, principals and superintendents has been the responsibility of schools of
education across the United States. Once they have completed their preparation these educators
must tackle the challenge of educating America s youth. Education is still a major factor in the
social, psychological, and financial development of one individual; it determines the difference
between a life fully lived and a life only dreamed of while opportunity passes by. The role of the
superintendent today serves many roles; the main function of the position is leadership. The
superintendent as the top executive of a given school district, including a group of schools affiliated
with the public school system. A direct connection exists between the superintendent and the school
board that he or she serves. A superintendent reports to the local school board, typically a group of
elected officials set to manage and organize the schools in that particular geographical area. The
main responsibility of the superintendent is to make sure that the schools under his or her
jurisdiction stay within budgetary constraints and provide an effective learning community for all
children within his or her district. Under the directive of the school board the superintendent
implements directives, manages the hiring of teaching staff, and oversees disciplinary actions that
deal with the student body as a whole. With the school board the superintendent maps out the

Importance And Importance Of Entrepreneur
Entrepreneurship refers to the act of investing in productive capital and assuming risk for
productive ventures. An entrepreneur is an individual who purchases factors of production and
combines them to produce consumable output. Entrepreneurs are distinguished from capitalists
who rent out capital to entrepreneurs and workers, who sell their labor to entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs are indispensable to the functioning of any economy. Entrepreneurs grow economies
by creating new output, increase efficiency in economies, allocate society s resources efficiently,
and serve consumers and job seekers. The foremost importance of the entrepreneur to the economy
is the creation of new output. At any given point in a society, production is stagnant.... Show more

Entrepreneurs are continuously looking for ways to generate profits. An incidental consequence of
this permanent quest for profits is the fact that economies gradually become efficient as
entrepreneurs discover more efficient ways to turn out goods and services. In any industry,
entrepreneurs will adopt the best production methods available to stay competitive and therefore
profitable. However, the competitive pressures of the market push entrepreneurs toward innovation.
Innovation involves a broad gamut of actions. Most notably, entrepreneurs will strive to improve
existing technology, to make their production endeavors less costly. Improving on existing
technology enables an entrepreneur to generate greater profits by cutting his production costs, and
therefore undercutting his competitions (Sowell, 2001; Mankiw, 2014). Soon enough, however, his
competitors also adopt his new production methods depriving him of the advantage he initially had.
As a result, the entrepreneur must constantly be looking for methods to do things more efficiently
than his competition. Improvements in technology and production methods benefit the whole of
society. Foremost, improved efficiency reduces the marginal costs of production, resulting in lower
prices for consumers. Consumers are therefore able to purchase greater volumes of goods and
services for the same amount of

The Pros And Cons Of Zoos A National Disgrace
Zoos a national disgrace
Today s zoos are prime providers of entertainment, encouraging people in their thousands to come
along and experience the reality of captured animals in small, useless and uninhabitable enclosures.
The constant flash of cameras and pressing noses to the glass has become the signature of the zoos
which house these precious creatures, yet what we fail to identify is the constant horror and neglect
these poor, harmless animals are subjected to. So why should these animals be treated so cruelly?
According to a recent study, over three quarters of UK zoos fail to reach the minimum requirements
needed for the animals in their care. This shockingly high statistic shows that animals aren t
receiving the attention they deserve, with the majority being kept in dirty and unhygienic
enclosures with stagnant drinking water. Not enough is being done to replicate the natural habitat
of these animals. The climate many zoo animals are introduced to is unusual and different
compared to their natural one. This can have major consequences, including animals reacting
abnormally to this change and getting injured, even though this could have been avoided. This new
life that animals are forced to experience has in turn resulted in confusion and led to the stunted
development of youngsters. On a typical day, animals in the wild are free to roam around and carry
out basic tasks such as hunting and raising their young. This however, is the complete opposite to

The Maison a Bordeaux is a home just outside of France in the late 20th Century designed by

Where do you do most of your work?
The majority of my work is done in UK waters. I live and work in the UK so it makes sense to take
advantage of all the area has to offer. I do work overseas periodically, but I prefer cooler climates.
One goal I have is to dive under sea ice in the Arctic, or Antarctic.
What do you enjoy most about this type of photography?
Being underwater is like no other environment, there s no distraction with mobile phones, and
people talking. I like the challenge of being able to dive in harsh environments and show people
the beauty, especially in the UK, as many feel it s often dark and gloomy and there s no colour.
What is the most important thing to remember to get a good image?
The single most important element in getting a good underwater picture is to get close to your
subject, generally a maximum of three feet for most subjects, sometimes inches away. It depends on
the size of the subject you are shooting. Obviously a 30 foot basking shark is different than a one

society during the post war period of unprecedented affluence and prosperity.
Fitzgerald depicts 1920 s America as an age of decline in traditional social and moral values;
primarily evidenced by the cynicism, greed and the relentless yet empty pursuit of prosperity and
pleasure that various characters in The Great Gatsby exhibit. He presents a society in which
uninhibited consumerism, materialism and an all pervading desire for wealth have perverted the
previously righteous qualities of the American Dream, corrupting it in the process. ... Show more

Daisy s superficiality and ephemeral qualities are achieved largely by Fitzgerald s use of diction
in Daisy s conversations and descriptions of her physical characteristics. Much of Daisy s
dialogue is utterly devoid of substance, is often repetitive and its sole purpose for inclusion in
the text is to demonstrate her, and indeed the upper classes lack of direction and purpose in life,
and the resultant restlessness that originates from a life of inactivity and ease that; qualities that
are perfectly encapsulated in the line on page 17; Do you always watch for the longest day of the
year and then miss it? I always watch for the longest day in the year and then miss it. . Fitzgerald
constantly undermines the character of Daisy to demonstrate that she is the unworthy object of
Gatsby s dream, as is the social class that she symbolises. Her immorality is subtly on display
through much of the novel; she treats her own daughter with indifference, objectifying her as yet
another material accessory; That s because your mother wanted to show you off. , she remarks in
Chapter VII, displaying an apparent lack of emotional connection one would expect a mother to
hold with her child. Additionally after betraying Gatsby at a crucial moment and

Disorder: Acne
Acne is a skin disorder consisting of hair follicles and sebum. It is a bacterial infection in the oil
glands. Usually starts at the age of puberty or sooner. Can be present in both men and women. They
can appear in the face, neck, chest, shoulders, back, buttocks, and upper arms.
There are several different ways to develop Acne. For example, over production of sebum, bacteria
left on the skin, and debris clogging the pores. Dead skin cells come out of the body through the
pores so they can be extracted, but if the glands produce too much oil, the pores can get blocked

According to (Homa Sheikh Sajadieh, 2013) Waste elimination is one of the most effective
ways to increase the profitability of any business. Processes either add value or waste to the
production of a good or service. The seven wastes originated in Japan, where waste is known as
muda . The seven wastes is a tool to further categorize muda and was originally developed by
Toyota s Chief Engineer Taiichi Ohno as the core of the Toyota Production System
, also known as
Lean Manufacturing. To eliminate waste, it is important to understand exactly what waste is and
where it exists. While products significantly differ between factories, the typical wastes found in
manufacturing environments are quite similar. For each waste, there is a strategy to reduce or
eliminate its effect on a company, thereby improving overall performance and quality .
The seven types of waste are:
1.Waste from overproduction.
2.Waste from waiting times.
3.Waste from transportation and handling.
4.Waste related to useless and excess inventories.
5.Waste in the production process.
6.Useless motions.
7.Waste from scrap and defects.
According to (Okpala, 2014) In Lean Production System, waste (which is referred to as muda in
Japan) is described as anything that destroys resources and does not add any value to the customer
s requirements. This is because manufacturing waste is the application of resources like raw
materials, labor, equipment, or machines over and above what is

A Article On Animal Eyes
This article is about different animal eyes. It presents different eyes and how they help that
particular animal survive and thrive in its environment. It has five different sections that are all
very different but tie into each other. It names several unique animals and has multiple photos to go
along with each section. Even just at first glance, this article is very eyecatching (no pun intended).
At the least, the photographs from this article could be used various ways in a classroom. You
could identify the animal each set of eyes belongs to and talk about the physical differences:
shape, color, position, and other physical features. The pictures could be cut out and then in half
to create a matching game. Just using the photographs, you could also compare our eyes to the
eyes of these animals. A point of view activity with these photos would be interesting and
engaging as well. Students could choose a set of animal eyes and write about what they are
looking at! Getting into the actual information that the article presents, it is broken down into
sections: eye position, eye size, eye protection, oddball eyes, and our eyes. Using these categories,
students could research and find other animals that fit into each. We could also discuss the
significance of each. Why does the size of some animal s eyes matter, why does the positioning of
animals eyes matter, why is the protection of the eyes important, etc. We could pretend we had eyes

Social Work Career Research Paper
I have chosen to pursue a social work education and career because I have a strong desire to help,

my life was positively changed by a social worker. Finally, I am drawn to the social work
profession by a fierce desire to provide service to veterans. As a veteran myself, I can better
empathize with the struggles they face. Also, I have first hand experience with the services

1.Please briefly explain why you chose to interview this person:
I ended up interviewing Jennifer Noonan who works in the Human Resources Student

what the career entails.
2.What are at least four things you learned from your informational interview about your contact s
career path/job responsibilities, employer, and/or industry?
Jennifer explained to me the basic role of the human resources department of an organization or
corporation. I learned that it s one of the most important aspects of a business, because they are
the ones who make sure all of the other departments are running as efficient as possible. Helping
with the hiring process of new employees is something I didn t know HR is a part of, and they
help hiring managers find the best possible candidates and make sure everything is in place for
their future employment. Jennifer also informed me that the role of HR is constantly changing,
and the old stereotypes of HR being the sticklers or the mean people is slowly changing. Human
resources job is to follow and enforce the rules of the government and corporation, and that s why
they were always portrayed negatively.

During world war two, people thought the fairytale encouraged genocide because of the intense
death in some of Grimm Brothers stories. Bettelheim took a psychological approach in his book
The Uses of Enchantment and believed that fairytales arose from children s subconscious as he
sought to demonstrate fairy tales accurately projected children s psychological needs and neatly
describe their psychosexual desires. (Buttigheimer, Par 17) In contrast, most theorist believed
that fairy tales create a social norm and motifs for children. In modern day, fairytales have more

Analysis Of End Times
Still life paintings are a way of elevating ordinary everyday objects to a place of prominence that
tell a story of the society and culture of that time; showing that everything around us, no matter
how ordinary, can be seen as beautiful. Painted with watercolors in the year 1985, End Times is a
still life painting by artist Michael Beck. In true trompe l oeil fashion, the painting needs to be
examined up close to be able to tell that it is not a photograph. The objects placed together in this
piece are not necessarily objects that one would consider for a work of art. They are items that one
would find in most households, but the artist placed them together in a composition, deeming them
worthy enough for such artistic expression. In End Times, unlike traditional still lifepaintings, the
artist has placed the items on a wooden floor instead of a table top. The composition is balanced
with vases on one side, boxes and a plant on the other and a tall wood and rattan stool in the
middle with a few items on the top of the stool. There are four vases of varying heights and
widths placed on the foreground on the right of the composition. The largest vase which frames
the right of the picture is yellow and white has the look of a ceramic milk jug that has some dried
reeds coming out of the top. Next to this vase we see a small brown ceramic vase with more of a
geometric tribal design on it, placed directly behind this vase is a tall and slender caramel colored
vase. The fourth

India Association Plans A Newsletter
The poem India Association Plans a Newsletter by Sharat Chandra has a lot of meaning to it behind
retaining home culture in another country. Throughout the poem, Chandra discusses on how the
second generation children should still preserve their own culture, and not forget about the heritage
you came from. The poem itself can be understood in a way that is meaningful for all new
immigrants who wantto sustain their own heritage in another land which is why today s reader
should pay attention to this poem. Personally, I feel the poem can tell today s readers about the
problems with being too Americanized. Sharat Chandra uses metaphor, imagery, and symbols in
IndiaAssociation Plans a Newsletter to convey a sense of what relieves the younger generation
from falling back too behind on their own culture, and not completely wash it down just because
you are living in a different country.
Breezing through the poem I can spot metaphors, and those are the ones that contradict what
Chandra says in the previous lines. Chandra is an immigrant from India who has been in the
U.S. for about two decades. Today s readers can get a sense of motherhood after reading this
because the poet says, to make India over there to become India over here (Line 7); this can be
interpreted in a such way that just because we are in the United States it doesn t mean that we can t
bring our country here. The motherhood literally refers to as giving birth or raising a child, but in

In all of the models and predictions of future hurricane activity examined, the influence of rainpower
on hurricane intensity was never mentioned or considered. Although the ways in which rain might
affect future hurricane intensity are not well understood and there have been very few studies

the future of hurricane intensity because of its large influence on hurricane intensity. The effect of
rainpower is actually a negative feedback loop, as increased sea surface temperatures cause more
water vapour, which leads to more rain, and consequently lessens hurricane intensity. Sabuwala et al

Chernobyl Nuclear Power Facility s Reactor No
On April 26, 1986, an alarm sounded during a routine test in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power
Facility s Reactor No. 4. Within a year, several thousand people were dead due to nuclear fallout.
Five thousand miles away in the heartland of the United States, high radiation levels decimated
crop production. Infant mortality rates and birth deformities skyrocketed across the globe. Today,
having just passed the 28th anniversary of this infamous disaster, we still feel the impact created
by the worst nuclear incident in world history. Just what happened on that fateful spring day which
resulted in over 500,000 deaths in the last decade? Was it allowing the construction of poorly
designed reactors that those in high positions turned a blind eye to? Was it employing people to
high positions with little to no knowledge on how to actually run a nuclear powerplant as advanced
as Chernobyl? Was it the gross incompetence in Soviet era government concerning nuclear power?
In a terrifying twist of fate, it was all three that lead to the worst nuclear disaster in history.

Fabrication Of Pcb And Pcb
FABRICATION OF PCB The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) provides the electrical
interconnections between various components and as well provides mechanical support to the
components. The components are soldered to the PCB. The quality of the soldering directly
affects the reliability of the circuit. The procedure for fabricating the PCB for any general
project is described below. 7.1 PCB MAKING Making of PCBs is as much as an art as a
technique. The making of PCB essentially involves two steps. Preparing the PCB drawing
Fabricating the PCB itself from the drawing. 7.2 PCB DRAWING Making of PCB drawing
involves some preliminary considerations such as placement of components, locating holes,
deciding the diameters of various holes, the optimum area that each component should occupy,
the shape and size of pads for the components, track size and spacing, full space utilization and
prevention of overcrowding of components at a particular area etc. There is no other way to
arrive the conclusion than by trial and error. With these details the sketch of the PCB is made.
7.3 PCB FABRICATION The fabrication of the PCB starts with transferring the PCB drawing
onto a copper clad sheet. For small number of PCBs, a direct photographic transfer of the PCB
drawing from a negative image of the drawing to a photo sensitized copper clad sheet is carried
out. The copper from the unexposed area is latter etched away. For large quantity production, screen

In class we learned about how Triton is the only major moon orbiting backwards in our solar
system. Due to the motion of the tides, Triton s orbit is spiraling in towards Neptune, so that Triton
s semi major axis is continuously decreasing. The moon Proteus semi major axis is continuously
increasing at a much smaller rate. The expansion of the disturbing function leads to the problem
that a small inner satellite can be strongly disturbed by Triton. The disturbing function is a method
of calculating perturbations to an objects elliptical orbit by calculating the acceleration caused by
the gravitational force of another body. Classical direct expansion is referred to an arbitrary plane,
not an orbital plane and through algorithms derived in Ellis and Murray. The algorithms were
changed due to the retrograde motion of Triton and based on the different numbers a new disturbing
function was created for arbitrary inclination. Testing was done with current inclinations of the
inner satellites of Neptune; however, assumptions were made due to the fact that the inclinations
are very small. The future dynamics of the Neptune Triton system may originate a possible 3:1

terminating the ones who are only there to take up space and collect a paycheck. For this strategy
to work in today s sue happy world you will have to maintain extensive records of your employees.
You will have to sit down with each and every one of them and ensure they know what is expected
of them within the organization or the team.
By focusing on the top performers within your organization you allow them the latitude to make
their own decisions for the tasks that they were assigned. This makes your job as a leader and a

that they are an integral part of the organization. It will also allow you to focus more on the

Kurt Cobain s Influence On Nirvana
The band Nirvana unleashed a musical sound and a cultural following that put grunge music on
the map and conquered the quirky pop sounds that dominated the radio waves in the early 1990 s.
Their music was filled with raw emotion, twisted lyrics and hard sounds that possessed their

Kurt Cobain, Nirvanas lead singer, was an emotionally tortured front man who struggled with drug

The Nirvana trio had released four complete albums including Bleach, Insecticide, Nevermind and
In Utero before their notoriety was cut short by the sudden death of lead singer Kurt Cobain.
Cobain had struggled with an ongoing heroin drug addiction and had suffered from suicidal
tendencies for many years leading up to his demise. On April 5, 1994 Kurt Cobain committed
suicide with a shot to the head inside of his own residence in Seattle, Washington. An electric
employee named Gary Smith discovered his body three days later; alongside him were a suicide

Women s Roles In Medieval Japan
1.The geography of Medieval Japan consisted of gardens for tea. The civilians would create
burial grounds for deaths of their leaders. This was similar to the pyramids of Egypt. As for
something not man made is the very mountainous land. There were plenty of rivers as well.
These separated the people apart from each other and kept things more secluded. The seclusion
kept people apart so there were different ideas which at times would cause the government some
trouble whilst trying to keep things under control. The climate in Japan was not very hot or very
cold it would snow and there would be a lot of heat but not all year around, it d change with the
seasons. Most of the land also wasn t fertile for agriculture but they still managed with... Show more

There were many religions/philosophy during Medieval Japan. There were eight religions that
affected Ancient Japan and their development. Christianity, Buddhism, Shintoism, are three of the
eight that has shaped Japan s history and as well as examples of religions that we have
researched. Christianity didn t really affect Japan up until the medieval era ended and wasn t
brought over until European peoples traveled to Japan. That leaves Buddhism and Shintoism.
Shintoism is known as their first and official religion. No one really knows where the origin of
Shinto came from but it impacted the development of historical Japan. A tradition that involves the
Shinto shrine is after the birth of a baby, it is named after three days, then after about a month old,
and the baby is brought to the Shinto shrine to officially become the member of the community.
Shinto was also known as the way of the gods and those who worshipped Shintoism seldom asked
about existing with the nature or who the world was formed. In Shinto, there was something
known as kami, or god(s); though in some cases kami can also be translated into appearance where
it can be human, nature, or an unmovable object. The men and women were devoted to the kami.
The kami is believed to have formed the earth and has a relationship with nature. Worshipping
Shintoism was rather simple and a family affair; meaning that you were to worship with your
family at the right place (which is usually in shrines) and time, together.

Willy Loman And Modernism Analysis
the main character, it allows them to impress the audience and widen the boundaries of this type of
art. Additionally, Arthur Miller shows the problems of those people who are not able to adapt to
the constantly changing environment and live in the past. The author s claim to the audience to
live for today has a strong correlation with the core principle of modernism requiring from artists to
break the outdated rules and be concentrated on the current demands of society. Additionally, Arthur
Miller is trying to help the audience to keep pace with modern trends and in different spheres of
life by stressing the indifference of the cruel world to their problems and inefficiency of the
outdated rules and norms. People should understand that... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Shelagh Delany decides to show the life of the family, where poor relationships of mother
(Helen) and daughter (Jo) spoil their lives. The most challenging moment in this play is that
such a situation in family life is common. Generation gap and differences in their attitude to life
are the core factors affecting their peaceful communication. To raise the problem of a constantly
changing environment, the author describes the situation, where Helen, a gipsy soul, is always
moving to a new flat, her daughter Jo has no opportunity to normally study in any school for a
long time (Delany 9). Consequently, Jo has no internal forces to resist and chooses to go with
the stream. Although school is a very important social institution that can grant people success
in their lives, Jo is ready to sacrifice her successful future just to live away from her egocentric
mother. Moreover, the dramatist reveals a wide range of discriminations and prejudices existing
in the real world. In her efforts to escape from her problems, Jo finds the black boyfriend who
helps her forget about her poor existence and feel happiness. Jo has no prejudices concerning the
color of her boyfriend s skin because he appears to be friendlier and caring than her narcissistic
mother. However, the Boy has certain concerns about the attitude of Helen to his appearance and Jo
needs to persuade him that her opinion is not important for their

The most commonly used instrument for hedging are Forward Rate, Futures Rate and currency
Options. According to Jean Folger (2012), Derivative is a contract between two or more parties
whose value is based on an agreed upon underlying financial asset, index or security. Then currency
derivatives are a contract whose prices are partially derived from the value of the underlying
currency that it represents. And firms especially MNC s commonly take positions in currency
derivatives to hedge their exposure to exchange rate risk. Jeff, M. Roland, F. (2011).

  • 2. The Slavery Of African Americans Some people I met asked me that we Africans sold other Africans into slavery and why? I will tell them well I was not born when it happened, I only learn about slavery in school not even my parents told me so I cannot provide you with genuine reason behind slavery but I do understand this that it may have some economic benefits attached to it and that is a fact, the world back then was like survival of the fittest, slavery was rampant all over the world and not only black Africans were enslaved, many ethnicities and nationalities some Europeans like Irish and Jewish have been enslaved too. I could have avoided questions like this, but since many of this questions are directed to me from African Americans, I do my best to be honest with them about the little knowledge that I know. You must not hold grudge against me because my ancestors sold your people into slavery, and I must also not avoid your questions even if i feel guilty about the role of my people during slavery. I was not responsible for it and neither of my parents. You must not be imprisoned with victim mentality of the whole slavery thing I told him and he was like wow I like that. I told him that is why it is nice to talk about things because I do not know your mindset I cannot read it but I can wrongly judge it based on my personal observations. Each administrator will create a public forum for teachers to come, meet and discuss their ideas, concerns or needs and most importantly, just be there to listen. Since establishing these frequent, open forums, teacher satisfaction survey results have shown an 11% increase in year over year satisfaction. How Does Masculinity Affect Young Men Today With life being as challenging as it is, it seems to be that it is only revolving around the challenges that women face, but you can t forget that men also go through the same challenges. With everything on the news and current media being about feminism people often forget that men also have problems and deal with hardships like anyone else. This leads me to say that one of the main troubles that young men have today is how society defines masculinity. Society plays a huge role in a young mans life due to all the social media outputs so how all these outputs portray masculinity is a huge problem for the young men of today. To begin with, the way society portrays masculinity is in a sort of fashion that oppresses young men by not only making ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

To be honest, I had never really thought about where the world was heading, and if I hadn t read this book, I would ve thought that the United Stateswould remain the main superpower in the world and the rest of the world would sort of stay at their current status. The Pros And Cons Of Zoos A National Disgrace Zoos a national disgrace Today s zoos are prime providers of entertainment, encouraging people in their thousands to come along and experience the reality of captured animals in small, useless and uninhabitable enclosures. The constant flash of cameras and pressing noses to the glass has become the signature of the zoos which house these precious creatures, yet what we fail to identify is the constant horror and neglect these poor, harmless animals are subjected to. So why should these animals be treated so cruelly? According to a recent study, over three quarters of UK zoos fail to reach the minimum requirements needed for the animals in their care. This shockingly high statistic shows that animals aren t receiving the attention they deserve, with the majority being kept in dirty and unhygienic enclosures with stagnant drinking water. Not enough is being done to replicate the natural habitat of these animals. The climate many zoo animals are introduced to is unusual and different compared to their natural one. This can have major consequences, including animals reacting abnormally to this change and getting injured, even though this could have been avoided. This new life that animals are forced to experience has in turn resulted in confusion and led to the stunted development of youngsters. The seven wastes is a tool to further categorize muda and was originally developed by Toyota s Chief Engineer Taiichi Ohno as the core of the Toyota Production System , also known as Lean Manufacturing. To eliminate waste, it is important to understand exactly what waste is and where it exists. For each waste, there is a strategy to reduce or eliminate its effect on a company, thereby improving overall performance and quality . The seven types of waste are: 1.Waste from overproduction. 2.Waste from waiting times. 3.Waste from transportation and handling. 4.Waste related to useless and excess inventories. 5.Waste in the production process. 6.Useless motions. 7.Waste from scrap and defects. Even just at first glance, this article is very eyecatching (no pun intended). At the least, the photographs from this article could be used various ways in a classroom. You could identify the animal each set of eyes belongs to and talk about the physical differences: shape, color, position, and other physical features. The pictures could be cut out and then in half to create a matching game. Just using the photographs, you could also compare our eyes to the eyes of these animals. Analysis Of End Times Still life paintings are a way of elevating ordinary everyday objects to a place of prominence that tell a story of the society and culture of that time; showing that everything around us, no matter how ordinary, can be seen as beautiful. Painted with watercolors in the year 1985, End Times is a still life painting by artist Michael Beck. In true trompe l oeil fashion, the painting needs to be examined up close to be able to tell that it is not a photograph. The objects placed together in this piece are not necessarily objects that one would consider for a work of art. They are items that one would find in most households, but the artist placed them together in a composition, deeming them worthy enough for such artistic expression. In End Times, unlike traditional still lifepaintings, the artist has placed the items on a wooden floor instead of a table top. The composition is balanced with vases on one side, boxes and a plant on the other and a tall wood and rattan stool in the middle with a few items on the top of the stool. There are four vases of varying heights and widths placed on the foreground on the right of the composition. The largest vase which frames the right of the picture is yellow and white has the look of a ceramic milk jug that has some dried reeds coming out of the top. Next to this vase we see a small brown ceramic vase with more of a geometric tribal design on it, placed directly behind this vase is a tall and slender caramel colored vase. The fourth ... The components are soldered to the PCB. The quality of the soldering directly affects the reliability of the circuit. The procedure for fabricating the PCB for any general project is described below. 7.1 PCB MAKING Making of PCBs is as much as an art as a technique. The making of PCB essentially involves two steps. Preparing the PCB drawing Fabricating the PCB itself from the drawing. 7.2 PCB DRAWING Making of PCB drawing involves some preliminary considerations such as placement of components, locating holes, deciding the diameters of various holes, the optimum area that each component should occupy, the shape and size of pads for the components, track size and spacing, full space utilization and prevention of overcrowding of components at a particular area etc. There is no other way to arrive the conclusion than by trial and error. With these details the sketch of the PCB is made. 7.3 PCB FABRICATION The fabrication of the PCB starts with transferring the PCB drawing onto a copper clad sheet. For small number of PCBs, a direct photographic transfer of the PCB drawing from a negative image of the drawing to a photo sensitized copper clad sheet is carried out. Due to the motion of the tides, Triton s orbit is spiraling in towards Neptune, so that Triton s semi major axis is continuously decreasing. The moon Proteus semi major axis is continuously increasing at a much smaller rate. The expansion of the disturbing function leads to the problem that a small inner satellite can be strongly disturbed by Triton. The disturbing function is a method of calculating perturbations to an objects elliptical orbit by calculating the acceleration caused by the gravitational force of another body. Classical direct expansion is referred to an arbitrary plane, not an orbital plane and through algorithms derived in Ellis and Murray. The algorithms were changed due to the retrograde motion of Triton and based on the different numbers a new disturbing function was created for arbitrary inclination. Testing was done with current inclinations of the inner satellites of Neptune; however, assumptions were made due to the fact that the inclinations are very small.
