Generation Differences Essay
Writing an essay on the topic of "Generation Differences" can be both challenging and
intriguing. The difficulty arises from the need to navigate through the complex layers of various
generations, understanding their unique characteristics, values, and perspectives. One must delve
into the historical context, social dynamics, technological advancements, and cultural shifts that
have shaped each generation.
The process of crafting such an essay requires meticulous research to gather relevant information
from diverse sources. Analyzing the contrasting viewpoints, experiences, and influences that
differentiate one generation from another demands a keen observational eye and an ability to
synthesize information coherently.
Moreover, addressing the topic necessitates a balanced approach. It's essential to avoid falling
into the trap of oversimplification or generalization. Each generation is a product of its time, and
exploring the intricacies without succumbing to stereotypes requires a nuanced understanding.
Additionally, incorporating a personal touch can enhance the essay's authenticity. Sharing
personal experiences or anecdotes related to intergenerational interactions adds depth and
relatability to the piece. However, striking the right balance between personal anecdotes and
broader societal trends is a delicate task.
The essay should also highlight the implications of generational differences in various aspects of
life, such as communication styles, work ethics, and social attitudes. Connecting these
differences to broader themes like societal progress, intergenerational collaboration, or potential
challenges is vital to providing a comprehensive perspective.
In conclusion, while writing a "Generation Differences" essay is undoubtedly a demanding task,
it offers a rich opportunity for exploration and reflection. Successfully navigating the
complexities of this topic requires a combination of research skills, critical thinking, and a
nuanced understanding of societal dynamics.

Implementation Of The Course Management System
There are several implementations that need to be address thought this
development. The first challenge is the architecture itself in the implementation
that this challenge addresses and what it holds. The next implementation is the
course management system and the platforms that the system is going to reside on
after that the project and any support that is needed throughout the system. There
is also a deployment strategy and making sure that will be able to deploy the
system in a proper manner but the potential challenges of the team needs to be also
addressed as well. Lastly how the system is going to be updated on a regular basis
needs to be addressed and discussed. There are several implementations that need
careful thought, but with the skills of this team and the knowledge that is
available to us we will be able to implement software that is capable of handling the
load and the security of the desired system. The application will be very robust and
we will be able to implement an environment that will be the forefront of the
network and of all the computer systems in its time. The software and system
updates can be performed in an out of band manage environment. The challenge
that is involved is that the implementation of the architecture is somewhat
challenging but the system will be able to be updated very easily. For example
Apache will be the web services for the network and files called war files will be
needed to update the system. These war files will be

The Debate Over Abortion Essay
With the ongoing debate and the advancement of technology in determining the
viability of a fetus, abortion, the ending of a pregnancy by removing a fertilized
egg, has become increasingly controversial. The morality of abortion has caused
many to separate into opposite sides of the spectrum, pro life and pro choice. The
arguments over abortion has stirred a continuous debate between a pro choice
stance such as that presented by the analogical reasoning of Thomson or Glover s
examination of social context and a pro life position argued by a moral view of
personhood by Noonan. The ethical arguments presented by the conflicting views in
the abortion debate has caused others to taken into consideration a sociological
account visible in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Thomson concludes that it does not matter whether or not a fetus is a person
because even if a fetus is granted a right to life, it is not accurate to assume that
abortion is murder (2, Thomson, CC p.192). Murder is an intentional act that is
unjustified while abortion is not direct killing but results in the death of the fetus.
For instance, in cases involving rape or other conditions of unintended
pregnancies, a woman undergoing abortion is not necessarily committing murder
since she was not responsible for an unwanted pregnancy. Therefore, in no case
should the personhood of the fetus determine the morality of abortion. Thomson
suggests that having a right to life does not grant the right to use another person s
body (3, Thomson, CC p.191). In other words, the fetus s right to life does not
apply to any moral obligation of the mother s body. Abortion is justifiable because
there is no obligation on part of the women for an unwanted pregnancy. In the case
of the sick violinist, the kidnapped person is not morally obligated to make
sacrifices and save the life of the violinist. Since the violinist has no right to use
another person s body, it would not be considered murder or a violation of the
violinist s rights if the kidnapped person was to refuse and pull the plug. On the other
hand, John Noonan criticizes
Vacant Lot Restoration Case Study
Vacant Lot Restoration Program is a comprehensive plan to specifically address
vacant lots by engaging residents and organizations in their sustainable revitalization
by helping underserved, inner city residents green their communities and restore
vacant lots by creating neighborhood gardens and green spaces, planting street trees,
and establishing tree nurseries (Parks People Foundation, 2002). These efforts were
initially undertaken in collaboration with the City Department of Recreation and
Parks and funded by Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community
Development (DHCD). The program was officially established through an
agreement between the Parks People Foundation (PPF) and DHCD to assist
communities neighborhood Service in managing vacant open space through
adopting the lot Program. All the agenesis will be defined later in this paper.
Overall, the Vacant Lot Restoration Program can be described as successful given
that 21 of the original 24 community projects selected as part of the program have
accomplished several stages in the restoration process over as many as five semi
annual planting seasons (Parks People Foundation, 2002). It empowers over 350
people in 24, and later 30 different communities establishing... Show more content on

The three main hypothesized mechanisms for these benefits include: provision of
opportunities for physical activity, recovery from stress and attention fatigue, and
facilitation of social contact (Lee et al., 2015). One of the prevalent disease that was
connected to the physical inactivity is Diabetes in adult. It was reported that the risk
of T2DM was significantly lower in greener neighborhoods by 8% (Astell et al.,
The Causes Of Tim Howard s Tourette Syndrome
Tim Howard Tourette Syndrome Tim Howard, an amazing soccer player, also has
Tourette syndrome. Tourette s is a disease where people have tics and cannot
concentrate on objects or things for a long time. Howard says, Sports were my
sanctuary. Being outside, playing soccer or basketball, I wasn t focused on my tics,
just on the opponent. I couldn t even tell you if I dealing with tics. Sports were my
escape (Zuckerman 11). The main symptoms of Tourette syndrome are tics,
involuntary muscle movements (Bjorklund 12). Although unpredictable, tics are
more likely to happen when people are sick or anxious (20). The two types of tics,
physical and vocal, can range from mild to severe (12). Mild vocal tics include:
spitting, sneezing, throat clearing, coughing, sniffing, and grunting. There are mild
physical tics also such as sticking out the tongue (21), shoulder shrugging, eye
blinking, and head twitching (20). Tourette syndrome is most often inherited
genetically. Tourette s is a result of a genetic mutation in the brain s basal gangliaor
from a gene mutation in the cerebral cortexof the brain. Scientists also believe this
disease can be a result of environmental factors (12). People can get Tourette
syndrome from a brain injury or bacterial infections (38).
Tourette syndrome is hard to diagnose because there is no test to positively diagnose
the disease(14). Tourette syndrome can be a comorbid condition which means that it
can be combined with another disease or condition. ADHD is one that can be
associated with Tourette syndrome. Doctors diagnose ADHD or other comorbid
condition before Tourette syndrome for reasons like it easier to diagnose and it more
common to see ADHD than Tourette. OCD, ODD, and Asperger syndrome are
comorbid conditions that are often associated with Tourette syndrome (24).
Therefore, kids in school with the disease have trouble focusing and need help in
school in various ways. In school people with Tourette syndrome can get
accommodations through a 504 plan or an Individualized Education Plan (Bjorklund
23). Students may need personal education aid to monitor behavior. Accommodations
a student with Tourette syndrome may receive include exemptions from certain
assignments,
A Report On Vigna Unguiculata
Introduction Vigna unguiculata is a common subtropic secondary crop utilized for
sustenance amongst populations. Also referred to as the cowpea, this commodity
holds great value in tropical Third World nations such as Nigeria since it serves as an
inexpensive resource which provides protein and energy (Dauost, 1986). Therefore, it
is essential that this crop remains prevalent in today s agricultural world.
Unfortunately, Vignaunguiculata faces a large amount of predation from multiple
species, one of which is the beanbeetle Callosobruchus maculatus. This pest, along
with others, leads to crop failure and a complete loss in the resource for potentially an
entire agricultural season. Callosobruchus maculatus, a plant feeding insect,
compromises the integrity of Vigna unguiculata populations by using either this plant
or other dry bean species as a location to reproduce and lay eggs (Tuda, 2006).
Numerous methods to combat this agricultural problem have been tested and
observed. One study suggested artificially selecting certain Vigna unguiculata with
key enzymes to hinder the growth of Callosobruchus maculatus eggs within the beans
(Filho, 1991). However, a definite correlation has not been discovered and more
studies are required. Other investigations utilized the implementation of various oils,
which functioned as a natural pesticide against Callosobruchus maculatus. Research

Everything You Need to Know About an Automatic Stay
Many things happen after you file for bankruptcy, but one of the first things that
occurs is that an automatic stay goes into effect. An automatic stay may seem a bit
scary if you don t know what it is, but here are the important things you need to know
about an automatic stay.
What Is It An Automatic Stay?
An automatic stay is when your creditors are notified you ve filed bankruptcy and
they can not attempt to collect the money owed to them anymore. This is not
indefinite pause on your bills, it simply gives the bankruptcy court time to review
your case and decide how much each creditor will get from your bankruptcy
settlement.
What Does It Affect?

performance of the company was steady over the years, but since 1998 to 2000 the
company had no growth. The management team thought that was because of the low
population growth in northern Europe and market saturation in some areas. The
management team hoped that increase in market share and sales would help
company growth. Eurplamd food has a senior management committee meeting at

Minorities In The Movie Crash
There is no denying that the criminal justice system is downright corrupt, unjust, and
powerful. By corrupt, the criminal justice system degrades the power it possesses to
perform in its out most potential. By unjust, the criminal justice system disposes of
equal treatment and exhibits discrimination of individuals of society. By powerful,
the criminal justice system utilizes discretion and fear to respond to situations that
entail the lives of racial minorities. These ideas extend to a much greater problem
which is the disposition on minorities. There is the majority group, also known as
the dominant group, and there are the minority groups, also known as the
subordinate group. The dominant group have power either politically or
economically. The subordinate group have less power and are mostly comprised of

The people of a minority group who are at a greater risk of being subjected to the
criminal justice system are the African Americans and Hispanics. It is not surprising
these two groups are more prone, yet throughout the remainder of this paper, certain
concepts/themes will be further analyzed from a chosen film to portray the reality
minorities face with and in the criminal justice system and society. The criminal
justice system, in regards to the film Crash, was reflected in such a way that is
understood in today s system. For example, police officers were quick to perceive
African Americans as wrongful doing. The process of interrogation came down to
force and inappropriate handling of an African American woman. Such stop and frisk
resulted in degrading the dignity of both African American persons stopped by the
White officers and the bad conduct performed by the older White officer was not
reported by any of the individuals leading to discretion from all especially discretion
from the White officer s partner. Discretion has been evident in many situations and

Break Of Day In The Trenches By Isaac Rosenberg
Break of Day in the Trenches is by one of the First World War s leading war poets,
Isaac Rosenberg. Many often remember Rosenberg as a Jewish English poet, or a
poet of war, but there is more to his writing than what meets the eye. Rosenberg
died at the age of twenty eight in World War I on April 1, 1918. Critics often say that
Isaac was an impressive young poet and that his future was bright in the poetryworld.
It can be seen throughout his poems that Isaac incorporates a large amount of
symbolism and feeling into his pieces.
A primary focus for Rosenberg s poems is centered around the hardship and
struggle in war. For example, a few of his most famous poems including Dead Man
s Dump, On Receiving News of the War, Soldier: Twentieth Century and Break of
Day in the Trenches all incorporate the mentality of a soldier facing battle. It is easy
for an individual to talk about the thought of war and the struggle that a soldier
may face. Furthermore, Rosenberg wrote from his experience as a young man
going through such a horrific event, which allowed his readers to see what he saw,
feel what he felt, and undergo what he went through. He mastered this art form in
the early years of his life and shared his work with the world. In many cases, he
describes an object or occurrence and lets the description do most of the work.
Instead of using the rhyming schemes or more structural outlines of poetry, Isaac
approaches more of a free verse technique of writing in in his work. For example, in
Break of Day in the Trenches,
The darkness crumbles away.
It is the same old druid Time as ever,
Only a live thing leaps my hand,
A queer sardonic rat,
As I pull the parapet s poppy
To stick behind my ear.
Droll rat, they would shoot you if they knew Your cosmopolitan sympathies.
(Rosenberg, Isaac. Break of Day in the Trenches. Poetry Foundation. Poetry
Foundation, n.d. Web. 24 May 2017.) The introduction portion of this poem
foreshadows a theme for the reader such that Rosenberg does not use an ABC format,
instead he employs a descriptive structure technique. In this particular poem the rat
that will cross No Man s Land and make friends with the enemy, the Germans.

Did you know that baseball is considered America s pastime (Raskin)? Baseball has
a huge past. It s been one of the most popular sport in the whole world! But what has
made baseball how it is today? Baseball has evolved throughout history in many ways,
shapes, and forms. What has caused the development of it though?
To further my point, there are multiple ways on how baseball has made it s
advancements. America s pastime has evolved its professional league, rules,
positions, and equipment. The many evolutions of the sport have been due to its
rapid spread of popularity in the world. To this day, baseball is one of the most

Just like most things, baseball began with its invention. Baseball was invented in
1839 by Abner Doubleday. Doubleday made his invention in Cooperstown, New
York. He invented it based on an English game called Rounders. Rounders was
invented because many children in England were inactive and needed something to
play. In addition to the invention of the sport, baseball has a thriving professional
league. All sports in the world have at least one professional organization, and for
baseball there s the MLB (Major League Baseball). The MLB was formed by Rob
Manfred in 1903. The MLB started with sixteen teams. Those sixteen teams were split
in half into two different leagues, the American League and the National League. The
top two teams from each league compete for the national championship, in other
words called the World Series. The Boston Americans won the 1903 World Series

Augustus Prima Porta Sculpture Analysis
The establishment of the Roman Empire marked a pivotal change in Roman
society. This was accomplished by Augustus, Rome s first Emperor in 27 B.C. His
time in power marked a period of peace and prosperity within Rome. His
achievements established what historians refer to as the Pax Romana the 200 years
of relative peace in Rome. During his time in power, Augustus enacted many changes
and developments in the Roman Empire. His achievements were best encapsulated in
the Augustus Prima Porta statue. The statue is renown for its similarities to classical
Greek sculpture as well as its symbolic representation of Augustus s divine image as
the Emperor of Rome.
The Augustus Prima Porta was discovered in 1863. The name Prima Porta derives
from the city in which it was found at the site of Livia s Villa in Prima Porta on the
Greek island of Paros. It now resides at the Vatican Museum. The sculpture was made
entirely of Parian marble white semitransparent marble popularized for its sculptural
uses. The sculpture depicts Augustus as a powerful military figure with the
incorporation of divine imagery. The sculpture is both natural and idealistic in its
representation of Augustus. The statue exhibits personalized facial features indicating
a sense of natural realism. His facial expression is rather stern, evoking a sense of
power and prestige. His physique is athletic, predominantly muscular and measuring
to approximately 2.03 metres in height ultimately presenting an idealized form.
Description of †Vulnerable Employment’ and Its

DESCRIPTION OF VULNERABLE EMPLOYMENT AND ITS IMPACTS ON
OECD COUNTRIES AND TURKEY ABSTRACT The economic crisis that began
in the last months of 2008 has negative impact on the labor markets of both
developed and developing countries economies. And worldwide unemployment
rate is increasing day by day. With economic crisis in 2008, we met with new
indicators which we had never heard before. These new indicators are affecting and
directing crisis. One of the them is vulnerable employment . In our research, we

But lack of security is based on inequity and unfairness. Thus, vulnerablity is
increasing at these conditions. В· Low pay: The CAB have highlighted practice of
employers declaring that workers are being paid minimum wage whilst
underestimating the number of hours they work, meaning that pay per hour appears
fair in the records, when it is actually illegal.3 В· Illegal and unfair deduction from
pay: Employees under vulnerable employment work for minimum wages than same
jobs in normal economic conditions. In order to continue their life, they have to suffer
this minimum wage amounts, especially crisis times. Thus, companies try to manage
their own advantages within minimum wages. The more minimum wages employee
has, the more profits owner of the companies have. В· Health and safety: Migrant
workers are at the highest risk because they have lack of communication with other
workers. They have no idea about health and safety regulations in that country, and no
trainings. Reasons of Vulnerable Employment T h e most of economists believe that
vulnerable employment exists because of capitalism. In 1980s, manufacturing
industry passed from developed countries to the developing countries, and servis
sector was increasingly important in developed countries. These progresses changed
the rules for division of labour. Competition in business forces companies flexible in
Jefferson Smith s Pride In Washington To Washington
It all started when a young man that goes by the name of Jefferson Smith was

and was very prideful in the United States of America. He eventually gets elected to

other senators. One senator however, that went by the name of Joseph Paine who

Smiths naivety allows him to be made a fool out of in the press and in the

Smith s American pride forces him to fight for what he believed in. Using
democracy as his weapon, Smith aims to squash out corruption in the senate and
use the constitution to his advantage in which he was successful in doing so. In my
opinion, Smith s character is what makes the movie great. Smith starts off as a new

John Keats’s Poem, La Belle Dame Sans Merci Essay
examples
John Keats s poem La Belle Dame Sans Merci dramatizes the conflict between
dreams and reality as experienced by the knight. On a late autumn day, the speaker
stumbles upon an ailing knight and asks what is wrong. The knight reveals that he
had fallen in love with a beautiful lady, a faery s child (14), who then abandoned him
after professing her love and spending one night together. The speaker is recounting
his experience with the knight to his audience. Structurally the poem is a ballad
written in twelve quatrains. Keats wrote the poem with the intention of it being read
as opposed to sung (Cummings). The first three lines of each quatrain are written in
iambic tetrameter, while the fourth varies between iambic dimeter and... Show more

The knight s personal recount of the lady begins in the fourth stanza. He meets the
faery lady in a meadow. He seems instantly captivated by her beauty, stating that
her hair was long, her foot was light / and her eyes were wild (14 15). The use of
the word wild may suggest that the faery has a feisty, untamed nature. Throughout
stanzas four through six, the knight appears to be dominant, as he states he makes
all of the moves: I made a garland for her head, (17) and I set her on my pacing
steed (21). Keats s use of steed is quite peculiar. It could be taken literally, as in a
horse that one rides, or it could be interpreted as an innuendo. The reference to the
faery lady making sweet moan in line 20 could allude to an innuendo as well. In
stanza VII, we see a shift in focus from the knight to the faery lady. Instead of the
knight describing his own actions, he describes the faery lady s actions. She
provides the knight with roots of relish sweet, and honey wild, and manna dew (25
26). Both honey and manna are Biblical allusions, but the most peculiar of these is
manna. In the book of Exodus, God sent manna to the Israelites as a form of
nourishment. Perhaps the faery lady is a form of nourishment for the knight. The
lady professes her love for the knight: I love thee true (28). After this profession, the
faery lady brings the knight to her elfin grot (29). The knight attempts to
Correctional Programs In Prisons
Correctional programs are effective and cost efficient reducing criminal behavior, but
financially receive a small percentage of the total budget. It is critical to take into
consideration that correctional facilities should not help inmates, who did not want to
help themselves. With correctional punishment, offenders have time on their hands to
address their drug addiction. Inmates in prisonare highly recommended to attend
counseling. One on one counseling explores the idea of self awareness; thus, inmates
understand why he has the desire to be violent. We all have certain people and
circumstances that trigger predictable thoughts, feelings and behaviors in us
(Casarjian, 1995, p. 99). In most cases, inmates are furious toward their parent.

Examples Of Dramatic Irony In A Doll s House
Dramatic irony is a valuable tool used by writers in literary works in order to engage
the audience in the works and to add a level complexity to the characters. Dramatic
irony is understood by the audience, but not the characters. With this particular type
of irony, the writer makes the audience more involved and they are able to empathize
more with the characters in the works. Although the character may be heavily
disliked, dramatic ironycan cause the viewer to feel a sense of empathy as though
they were in the same situation. With this technique, the character may also seem
more real and relatable. And more often than not, when dramatic irony is used, the
viewer will be put in a position of helplessness. In A Doll House, Ibsen takes
advantage of this technique and utilizes heavy amounts of dramatic irony with his
characters, especially Torvald, in order to engross the audience and also to place the
audience in a position where they are hopeless, which could... Show more content on

The Tarantella is a fast paced folk dance which originated from Southern Italy.
Ibsen uses the dance for heavy symbolism in the A Doll House, but the dance quite
ironic as well. In one part when Nora is vehemently dancing the Tarantella, Torvald
comments, My dear darling Nora, you are dancing as if your life depended on it,
to which Nora says, So it does (Ibsen 58). Regrettably, Torvald does not catch on to
the double meaning of Nora s statement. Torvald may not see the fuss, but to Nora
the Tarantella is the last nail holding the cracking foundation of their marriage. She
wants perfection and to pretend to be the fragile doll one last time before the truth

Theory Of Intimate Social Networks
Intimate Social Networks To gain new members for a cell or organization through
networks, a similar ideology must be present between them and the current members.
They also have to be at least have some more of tangential relationship to the person
or organization beforehand. This means that the most important predictor of whether
someone will join an organization or movement according to this theory is their
contact with someone already inside the movement, which applies to all movements,
not just radical groups (Jasper Poulsen, 1995, 494). This connection allows them
access to the rationales of the person inside the movement, which in turn affects how
they themselves see the movement. Successful recruitment requires 3 different frames,

Because the ELF and the ALF rely on leaderless resistance, they cannot recruit in
the same ways that large groups like the KKK or PEN1 can. This makes them
harder to measure and harder to catch but both groups have more people each day
being radicalized and radicalizing themselves to take the places of those being
incarcerated. Both recognize the power of school as a place to recruit at, even if
they target different people and in different ways. Both right and left wing groups
are full of people, which means there are rules being made and broken every day.
However, a major draw in racist extremist groups is the chance to have an adoptive
family, whereas with the autonomous cells, a group of very close friends or
acquaintances is already needed to form a fully fledged cell that can perform all the
actions necessary. Left wing groups are unique for their small hidden groups who can
anonymously commit crimes and attribute them to a larger collective that requires
minimal things from them and has specific ways of recruiting through friend groups

Assignment # 5 What caused the demise of the electric car?
In the 1990s the electric car was never really alive
In 1987 when the Sunraycer won, Roger Smith saw the potential for a commercial
electric vehicle (EV); only 3 years later, GM announced the Impact prototype.
CARB, emboldened by the seeming viability of EVs, quickly passed ZEV
mandate. It seemed the EV was making rapid in roads. However, 13 years later
ZEV mandate was reversed and nearly all electric cars produced were destroyed by
their own manufacturers. This stark turn of events begs the question Who is to
blame? When we go back over the facts, it becomes clear that ultimately limited and
cost prohibitive technology ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although Who Killed the Electric Car focuses on ~50 enthusiasts there is no
consistent evidence of high potential demand for the EV1.
GM made a rational business decision to close down the EV1
At a price point of $50 60K with poorer features than traditional cars demand for the
EV1 would be extremely low, and it is unclear whether the EV1 would have ever
reached enough scale to be profitable. Given these conditions, it is not unreasonable
that GM would discontinue the EV1.
Other factors
While the demise of the EV was largely a function of viable technology there are
several other contextual elements worth noting.
Firstly, the decline of oil prices in 1996 decreased the price of substitutes to the EVs
and increased demand for traditional cars. In addition, the oil lobbyist s blocking of
recharging infrastructure limited important complements for a viable EV market.
Secondly, CARB s production requirements contingent upon demonstrated demand
created a perverse incentive for car manufacturers to suppress demand for their
vehicles if they believed that consumer demand (at a profitable price) would fall
below CARB s mandated levels. The impact was that even if the EV was not viable
at the time, manufacturers were encouraged to stop exploring improvements to make
the EV viable in the future to avoid signaling a future demand to CARB.
Viable EVs, but CARB should be careful
Benefits Of Physical Activities For Children
Benefits of Physical Activities for Children
Do you have a child or siblings? What if at age 10 they went for a regular doctor
check up and got diagnosed with diabetes. But then ontop of that information, you
were told that it could have been prevented with just a little exercise. Diabetes
prevention is one of many ways that physical activities benefit children. My name is
Kayla Langley and I would like to inform you of the numerous benefits of exercise
for children, those with and without disorders. Childhood obesity has more than
doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents in the past 30 years( Childhood
Obesity Facts ). This is not a trend that we want to see rise any further. Physical
activities are proven to monitor weight, build strong bones, and maintain healthy
muscles. These components help the individual work towards improving
endurance, strength, and flexibility(Physical Activity Facts). Healthy bones and
muscles are crucial for a healthy life, exercise allows muscles and joints to bend
and move to get a full range of motion( The Many Benefits of Exercise ). However,
overweight children do not get to enjoy the luxury of being able to move around the
way they desire( Childhood Obesity Facts ). It limits them from the world and all that
it offers, this is why physical activities are extremely crucial for every child.
Especially, those showing signs of obesity. Children with ADHD, Attention Deficit

The Cold War In The 1980 s
The Cold War was a tumultuous period for the Soviet Union, a time of mutually
assured destruction. The Soviet Union achieved a high rate of economic growth
from the end of World War II until 1975. During this period a transformation
occurred from a semifeudal, underdeveloped nation to a developed, industrial society

industrialized nations (van der Veen, 122). However, during the 1980 s a number of
domestic issues relating to the serious decline in the economic and social
infrastructure, and the increasing gap in technology between the West and East came
to the forefront of political discussions (Valerie Bunce, 223). In 1985 Mikhail

Olmec Influence On Mayan Civilization
An ancient American civilization that predates the Aztecs and the Mayan is the
Olmec civilization. The Olmecs influenced many civilizations throughout its life
during the years 1200 400 B.C.E. The Olmecs architecture, agriculture, and culture
influenced Mesoamerica and its influence can still be seen today. The Olmec
civilization was located in the tropics of Mexiconear the Gulf of Mexico. The
Olmecs population grew to a surplus of crops. These crops were maize, beans, and
squash. The harvest allowed the population to grow, and because of their location
the Olmecs had fertile land which allowed farms and villages to develop. In the
middle of the Olmec s settlement was the city San Lorenzo. San Lorenzo had a
population of 10,000 people. The

Mary Rowlandson s Demise Of The Settlers By Mary
Rowlandson
Thesis Statement: Mary Rowlandson persuaded the settlers that the Indians were
savages by talking about the brutality they showed during the pillage, the cruelty
towards the settlers when walking to the camp, and the inhumanness of slaughtering
children and babies.
After reading the piece by Mary Rowlandson, one can see why the settlers were
persuaded that the Indians were savage and barbaric. One may think this because of
the many mentionings of how they shot children and neglected people making them
seem like animals. She also speaks about how the Indians destroyed and burned their
village. The Indians killed people inhumanely and took many prisoners which they
later neglected. This was expressed by explaining how a man met his demise, He
begged of them his life, promising them money (as they told me) but they would not
hearken to him but knocked him in the head, and stripped him naked, and split open
his bowels. All of these statements of what happened may now persuade someone to
think that the Indians were savage and brutal. ... Show more content on

Rowlandson writes, Now away we must go with those barbarous creatures, with our
bodies wounded and bleeding and our hearts no less than our bodies. This shows that
the Indians did not care about the physical condition of the settlers. Also, the Indians
treated the settlers poorly by not feeding or treating to their needs. This is shown
through the quote, There remained nothing to me but one poor wounded babe, and it
seemed at present worse than death. This shows that the settler had lost all hope in
surviving and thought it would be better to die than go on living. The cruelty towards
the settlers was only one of many example showing how the Indians were
Positive Influences Of The Internet Essay
In 1983, an invention was introduced that would shape the future of American society
and interactions around the world. The society would begin to be centered around
technology and shift online. A plethora of advantages and societal changes has
sparked negative thoughts about how the internet has changed our lives. The ability
for our computers to communicate has left us as easy targets for hackers and has
sucked the American youth into a zombie like state into their phones. Many worry
the internetis degrading our culture. When referring to the invention of writing and
reading, Plato denounced writing as inhuman and warned that writing weakened the
mind and that it threatened to destroy people s memory (Furedi). People are often
scared of new innovations because they are aware of its potential to revolutionize
their culture. Adjusting to unfamiliar concepts and innovations can be uncomfortable
and difficult for most people. Similarly, modern day sceptics look at the internet in a
negative light because of its rapidly increasing impact on our society. What most tend
to forget is the positive influences of the internet. The increased interconnection
brought by the internet has led to a society that values productivity, rapid production
of ideas, and social awareness.
The idea of the internet first appeared in August of 1962 from J.C.R. Licklider, a
professor at MIT. He came up with a concept called Galactic Network , an idea that
envisioned a network of computers
Superstition In Dracula
Science is often thought of as an improvement of society, but it also makes the
humans more close minded and narrow. The Victorian age of the setting is at its
height of technology. There are trains, phonographs, typewriters, and telegraphs.
Trains are the main use of travel and telegraphs allow the characters to send each
other short messages. A new medical concept, blood transfusions, plays an important
aspect in the story. With these advancement of technology, the Victorian mindset
leans more towards science. This conflicts with Draculawho symbolizes the ancient
mindset of humans: superstition and the supernatural. This presents a major conflict
with the group of heroes as they grow to understand who Dracula truly is and how

on the instant, came the sweet and flash of Jonathan s great knife. I shrieked as I
saw it shear through the throat; whilst at the same moment Mr. Morris s bowie

especially considering that there are Winchester rifles that Quincey Morris had

of the level of respect that is expected to be upheld by all staff members. It clearly
explains that staff is responsible and will be held accountable for complying with the

The General Standards of Conduct holds both management and hourly staff to a
universal level of standards ensuring that everyone be treated fairly.

Comparing Sophie s World, By Groucho Marx And
Sigmund Freud
It is worth noting from the start that Sophie s World revolves around the premise
that philosophy is the single most important discipline in the life of any individual.
Sophie is introduced to the idea of philosophy when Noah gives her a picture with
animals that have been saved. Alberto keeps mentioning the natural theory of life
and backs this up by quoting Charles Darwin, Groucho Marx and Sigmund Freud
(Gaarder, 2007). Charles Darwin is perhaps the most notable of the philosophers
following his theory of evolution that has changed the course of science and the
way the life of plants and animals is perceived. His favor of biological evolution
was premised on the idea that nature favors only the strongest in terms of survival
(Gaarder, 1996). Hilde, on the other... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The psychoanalysis involved the study of the human mind in finding out how
humans deal with different situations especially problems. Most notably, Freud
posited the fact that the malaise suffered by human beings is caused solely by the
events they choose to push to the back of the mind. In order for an individual to
function, the ego needs to create a balance with the identity of the person.
Otherwise, this would lead to problems being created. Further, Freud argues that the
social morality regulating human behavior is informed by the superego of the
individual. This is illustrated in Freudian slips where our unconscious being has
been established to interfere with some of the human action. Another philosopher
that makes Sophie s world is Groucho Marx. Marx advances the supposition that
history was driven forward by material aspects. According to him, the present that
we experience today was as a result of material desires that further shaped our well
being. This can also be said of the other philosophers including Hume, Berkeley,
Bjerkely, Locke, Spinoza and

Encephalopathy?
A Study aim To identify the risk factors for hypertensive encephalopathy amongst
patients seen in the Emergency Department (ED) and assess whether calcium channel
blockers play a role in preventing hypertensive encephalopathy.
B Background and significance
Hypertension is a very common problem, affecting 1 billion people worldwide, with
50 million cases in the United States, and one third of cases going undiagnosed. 1%
of the cases will experience a hypertensive emergency in their life. (1,2)
Although 1% is not a high number, the complications for that percentage are very

The symptoms are usually reversible with adequate and prompt control of the blood
pressure. (6)
The aim of the study is to identify if patients on CCB have less of a chance of
developing hypertensive encephalopathy than those treated with different
antihypertensive medications.
Calcium channel blockers are a group of medications used to treat Hypertension, and
also used as prophylactic treatments for migraines. They interfere with calcium influx
to the arterial wall, which cause arterial dilatation and relaxation of the arteries and
hence lowers blood pressure. Nicardipine is one of the CCB s used commonly in
treating stroke patients with very high and uncontrolled hypertension. (6)
Nicardipine crosses the blood brain barrier which binds to the calcium channels of
the L type, acting primarily at the level of the hippocampus (7). Intravenous
Nicardipine has been shown to reduce both cardiac and cerebral ischemia(8).
We want to observe if the patient treated with calcium channel blockers medication as
outpatient home medication has less hypertensive encephalopathy complications.
Moreover, we went to test if calcium channel blockers play any protective role against
patients developing hypertensive encephalopathy.
C Innovation of this study
There is multiple studies about the use of CCB s in treating Hypertensive
emergencies, one study in 1985 shows that CCB s and specifically the Nicardipine
could be used as first line drug in management
Analysis Of The Book White Noise

Final Paper Rough Draft
White noise is a very comprehensive novel that relates to many different themes and
has a very set foundation on which the author builds upon. White Noise, consists of a
chorus of background sounds that hum throughout the narrative, thus justifying and
supporting the name of the book. The supermarket is filled with a multitude of
different sounds and effects, commercials and bits and pieces from the television
punctuate throughout the story, and characters within the story such as Babette hums
in order to fill the empty space of silence. Jack looks upon the world within the story
as a foundation of dissonance, such as a stream of sounds. Jack looks upon this
foundation as partly human, and partly artificial. Jack and Babette that contemplate
the idea of death and that perhaps death is nothing but an terrible, never ending
surge of white noise, and so this white noise permeates and is conveyed into the
narrative and becomes a huge chunk of it, just as how death had became a natural
part of every other conversation had by the characters. This shows that the idea of
death had hit the characters in a very soft spot. These noises are not simply
overshadowed through life, but they are rather a major component of life and the
concreteness through which each and every single day is made. Themes of fear, use of
technology, and tension between reality and artificial substance is made throughout
the novel.
Characteristics Of A Good Friend
A good friend Friendship is such a strong bond of relationship without which a
person s life is an execration. It is not hard for me to believe a person without a
relative but it is hard for me to even imagine of a person without any good friend. A
good friend fill up the vacuum which no family members can. No matter how close
bond a person share with the family, there is always a limit beyond which a person
cannot express their thoughts or confess about their problems to family members.
A good friend remain unaffected by these limits and a person can pour their heart
out in front of them. A friend plays a very poignant role in a person s life. There are
many characteristics of a good friend. One of those characteristics is loyalty. A
person can never be considered a good friend if he or she is not loyal. That s the
reason why a dog is considered to be man s best friend. A good friend is someone
who will remain loyal and stick with us even during bad phase of our life. When a
person is strike upon by adversity, disappointment surrounds from all directions and
darkness engulf a person s happy life then only a good friend comes as a ray of
hope to illuminate a person s life and rescue them from being drown in the calamity.
For example, during bad times, failure in exams, rejection in job, family problems,
break up; a good friend support us morally, physically and financially and help us to

In the more popular and well known conspiracy theories such as the 9/11 attacks and
the assassination of JFK there are very credible facts to back up the idea belief that

States John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald while
travelling in a motorcade in Dealey Plaza, or that is what is said to have
happened.(Miller, 2017) Some believe that there was a little more to the
assassination then just the one shooter. This conspiracy is that there was more
than just one shooter and that there was a larger group group behind the event
other than just Oswald himself. There are quite a few events that occured that
make this theory that much more believable. The two things that happened that
stand out to me the most are the murder of Oswald just two days after JFK s death
and the fact that after audio analysis the HSCA concluded that there was a fourth

was being transferred from city jail to county jail he was shot at close range and

was part of a larger group or organization that had helped him plan the assassination
and that Jack Ruby was sent to Oswald to make sure he would not expose the group.
The second bit of evidence that is very compelling is in the audio recordings of the
assassination. After analyzing the Audio recording of the assassination the HSCA

Glass Ceiling
Gender and Bias in the Workplace
1 Is there still a glass ceiling for women in the workplace? Is there one for men?
What progress has or can be made to break through it for all employees? What
about glass walls? The glass cliff? Are these real roadblocks for men and women in
certain careers or is there more to them than gender? A glass ceilingis defined as a
barrier that prevents a particular gender from rising reaching a particular
hierarchical level in a workplace. Today the glass ceiling is still very intact
especially in the case of women. Despite the fact that women and the feminist have
been fighting for their rights in the society for so long which they have been
gaining in the recent few years, it can be true to say that the glass ceiling for the
women still exists for particular reasons (Cocco, 2008). The reasons include the fact
that men still hold the top workplace positions and inequalities in the paternity as
well as the maternity leaves. Furthermore, the stereotype against women is not 100%
gone. For the men, the glass ceiling does not exist. These can be brought down by
the adoption of the zero tolerance policies for activities such as discrimination. Glass
walls are blocks that prevent individuals from interrelating downwards in a
workplace. This mainly exists in activities such as coaching (Shields, 2016). This ...

The Chimera of Ethnic Humour
Humour has always had the ability as long as anyone can remember to bring
people together and unify them to become closer and better acquainted. As humour
developed over time different categories of humour appeared. Ethnic humour is
one of the categories that was created decades ago and continues to be widely used
in present day comedy. The concept of ethnic, racial, and gender humour is as
sensitive a subject today as it has ever been; and yet there has never been such a
prolific quantity of this humour as there is in current day society. It manifests in
American culture s films and stand up comedy routines, as well as on popular TV

ethnic jokes apart is how the system it creates makes a person think of an ethnic

That if the teller and the audience of the joke are non Jewish the joke has a sense of

would take the joke from someone within their group and enjoy it because of a
sense of pride, connecting Jewish life to elevated expectancy they would be happy
to be known for (Qtd. In Rapport. The Sword 1). This analysis that Leveen gives
sheds light on how it is feasible for ethnic jokes to have many different meanings;
depending on the content, teller and audience of the joke. Thus creating humour from

Improving The Best Of Existing State Standards
Structuring on the best of existing state standards, the Common Core State Standards
provide a clear and reliable learning goal to help prepare students for college, career,
and life. The standards clearly demonstrate what students are expected to learn at each
grade level, so that every parent and teacher can understand and support their
learning. From Kindergarten through 8th grade, grade by grade standards exist in
English language arts/literacy and mathematics. From 9th through 12th grade, the
standards are grouped into grade sets of 9th through 10th grade standards and 11th
through 12th grade standards. Moreover, the CCSS stress the importance of using
primary texts in the classroom to build literacy, along with many other things. While
the standards set grade specific goals, they do not define how the standards should be
taught or which materials should be used to support students. States and districts
know that there will need to be a range of supports in place to guarantee that all
students, including those with special needs and English language learners, can
master the standards. It is up to the states to outline the full range of supports
appropriate for these students. Since the release of the final standards in 2010, a two
party mix of organizations representing parents, teachers, business leaders, and other
key voices have strongly supported the Common Core State Standards. The National

Opposing their extremist positions, in 1942 the moderates created a World
Evangelical Association that the fundamentalists attacked. The fundamentalists
became visible again in the last third of the 20th century, reacting against the liberal
trends in major Protestant churches. Catholicism The fundamentalist movement in
the Catholic Church has not been significant. The infallibility of the Bible is not a
dogma for Catholics, thus offering little ground for fundamentalism. Catholicism
allows some leeway for developing dogma (John Henry Newman ) as well as for the
importance of tradition and, in contrast to the fundamentalists, it does not consider
the Bible to be the only authority. Catholic movements today emphasize the
conservative pontifical documents from the last few centuries and are wary of the
more moderate decrees of Vatican II (Monsignor LefГЁbvre s anti Vatican II
movement in France is a vivid example). These movements did not draw undue
attention from the hierarchy , but they did influence certain informal developers of
fundamentalism among some Catholics. Some such influences came from relations
with Protestants such as through charismatic movements that crossed denominational
borders. Main Characteristics of Fundamentalism The array of conservative, orthodox

Teenage Pregnancy
Teenage Pregnancy
I. Introduction
Teenage pregnancy is one of the major problem that the world is facing today. Early
pregnancy or teenage pregnancy is dangerous to teenage girls health because it may
cause cervical cancer, aids, and eventually death. Teenage pregnancies are often
associated with an increased rate of delinquent behaviors including alcohol and
substance abuse. To begin with, majority of them belong to the low income group. To
prevent this dilemma, there are some preventions that can reduce the increasing rate
of teenage pregnancy. Firstly, parents must keep them at home with an intact family

III. Body
Teenage pregnancy is a widespread issue in the Philippines, especially amongst the
poor and it is an obvious rising issue in our society. Teaching sex educationin schools
can at least reduce the rising rate of teenage pregnancy. Sex education aims to reduce
the risks of potentially negative outcomes from sexual behavior such as unplanned
pregnancy and infection with sexually transmitted disease including HIV.
Comprehensive Sexuality Education and the Abstinence Only Until Marriage are the
two different types of sex education classes. The program that starts in kindergarten

Question 3 The title of the novel Of Mice And Men refers to how dreams often go
wrong. Discuss how John Steinbeck achieves this.
One of the main themes that runs through Of Mice And Men is of dreams and how
they go wrong. The title of the book is very appropriate to this theme as it comes
from a poem by Robert Burns called To A Mouse
,
On Turning Up Her Nest With The Plough:

George Milton is a small but quick man with sharp features.
Small and quick, dark off face with restless eyes and sharp, strong features. Every
part of him was defined: small, strong hands, slender arms, a thin and bony nose.
George doesn t seem to be that different to any normal migrant worker on the outside.
Lennie Small is the complete opposite of George.
Lennie is a large, strong man.
A huge man, shapeless of face, with large, pale eyes, with huge, sloping shoulders.
George and Lennie s relationship is rather like a child and it s guardian. Lennie is a
burden on George.
God, you re a lot of trouble. I could get along so easy and so nice if I didn t have you
on my tail
George knows, however, that Lennie has a very simple mind. Lennie depends on
George to look after him and keep him out of trouble. They stayed in Weed before
they came to the new ranch. Lennie caused trouble in Weed, when he felt a girl s
dress because it was soft. He then wouldn t let go. She thought he was trying to hurt
her and so she screamed. The residents chased them out of Weed as Lennie had ruined
their chances of staying there.
George then explains to Lennie that they are different to normal migrant workers as
they have each other and the dream.
George and Lennie have a shared dream.

The Battle Of Normandy s Operation Overlord
June 6, 1944, marked the beginning of Operation Overlord, with capturing the coast
of Normandy being the allies objective. Shortly after midnight, the allied began their
invasion by parachuting thousands of paratroopers into Normandy to bring the battle
behind the German coastal defenses. At around the same time, minesweepers began
clearing channels for the invading fleet, which consisted of over 5,000 ships. The
Germans, by contrast, had around 100 total ships in the area at the time, which
heavily outnumber them. Similarly, the German air force also faced the same
situation in the air as the Nazis could only mobilize roughly about 850 aircraft in
comparison to 11,000 allied planes. The allied began commencing naval
bombardment on the beaches
Credit Card Debt Consolidation
In these times when millions of people are suffering from the results of debts, credit
card debt consolidation seems to be the best solution to ease the burden from the
shoulders of the debt victims.
It is undeniable that the advent of plastic money has improved and made huge
changes in the way business is being run in the world. It has given customers many
benefits and convenience. It has become a necessity but the other side of the coin is
the plastic money is coupled with setbacks like drowning card holders in debts which
results from unplanned spending.
Debt consolidation comes to the rescue and can be regarded as a means to haul
yourself out of credit card debt. Credit card debt consolidation is the process of
consolidating all your ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Paying a lower APR is the first benefit you can get. Some credit card companies
offer a low APR or even zero percent APR for the first few months after you use
their services. Some even offer zero APR for the first six to nine months after you
get your new plastic to consolidate your debts.
Another benefit you can get when you go for credit card debt consolidation is
availing of the lower standard APR rates. One example of this is the long term
APR. However, not all card suppliers offer this feature. One more benefit you can
get is you get a zero percentage on purchases you make.
Card companies usually offer this feature as an incentive when you opt for credit
card debt consolidation but this is only applicable for a short period. You cannot
expect card suppliers to offer this forever. This also gives you an easier time to
manage your accounts.
With only one card to take care of, you do not have to worry over mountains of
bills that will fill your mailbox at the end of each month. Easy management is an
advantage because you do not have to keep track of your multiple plastic cards
anymore. You can focus on the card where you have consolidated all your
Analysis Of The Poem Starry Night By Anna Sexton
What need is there to weep over parts of life? The whole of it calles for tears.
Seneca
The poem, Starry Night , by Anna Sexton, which was interpretation of a personal
view for Van Gogh s artwork, Starry Night . The prophetical nature of Anne Sexton s
spiritual poetry, Starry Night, ensues the melancholy of humanity. The poem depicts
Sexton s interpretation of the immense psychological suffering of a religious human
being. By addressing, Van Gogh s work caught with a deep understanding of an
emptiness of the soul and also the familiar warfare of his mental distresses. Sexton
showcases the shared tiredness of life, by describing religion as an example of
extreme emotional desperation. However, the poem dilutes the attention of many
optimistic people who do not share its attire, instead an interpretation must be attained
by those who can have a glimpse of their own eternal suffering. Although, the poetry
has tragic finishing, it re opens for me personally, the divinity of melancholy.
Everyone is vulnerable and susceptible to the usual heartbreak of life. Anne Sexton
suicide was only one of many who desperately wanted to achieve an unrelenting
wave of relief. For these existences, depression is like a war, you either win or die
trying (Live or Die). This is how I want to die (). Anne Sexton is foretelling her battle
with morbid sadness that continues to slowly consume, until the person drowns into
a sea of burning anguish. ....where one black haired tree slips up
Analysis Of Mary Karr s An Almost Unbroken Panorama
1. Mary Karr presents her childhood in an almost unbroken panorama. Mine is a
fogged out landscape from which occasional memories appear like isolated trees . .
. . the kind that look as if they might like to grab and eat you. Excerpt From: Stephen
King. On Writing. pg. 17
This is an example of a metaphor that King used to compare his rather hazy
memories of his childhood to Mary s very clear and happy memories. His use of a
very descriptive metaphor in this comparison really helps the reader understand the
differences between. The metaphor not only compares his memories to May s but it
also describes the harshness of those few memories.
3. There was a whole world of vicarious adventure which came packaged in black
and white, fourteen inches across and sponsored by brand names which still sound
like poetry to me. I loved it all. Excerpt From: Stephen King. On Writing. pg. 47
This is an example of imagery which King uses to express his view of early
television. He saw it as an incredible little box that offered visual entertainment
much like a book offers entertainment. The vivid description paints a picture in your
head of his TV and the things he watched. To him it was a whole new world, and he
shares tat feeling with his readers using this imagery.
4. There is no Idea Dump, no Story Central, no Island of the Buried Bestsellers;
good story ideas seem to come quite literally from nowhere, sailing at you right out of
the empty sky: two previously unrelated

Jean-Baptiste Oudry
The artist that I will be focusing on is Jean Baptiste Oudry, a French artist who
focused mainly on painting animals. He was born in Paris, France on March 17,
1686 and died on April 30, 1755 in Beauvais, France. He was a French Rococo
painter and specialized in painting animals. Oudry first studied portrait paintingwith
Nicolas de LargilliГЁre. And later met Jean Baptiste MassГ©. Through MassГ©, he
made many connections and one that made his reputation, Louis XV. Oudry created
Louis XV hunting a deer in the Forest of Saint Germain for the king and was later
asked to produce more paintings for the king. Oudry started out painting only
portraits but later moved to paintings of fruits, animals, as well as religious subjects.
Oudry mainly painted but he also engraved. He was a Rococo painter which was a
late 18th century artist movement and style.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

In this painting, there are two dogs Misse, the white dog and Luttine, the black
furred dog. Here we can see Oudry s love for animals. He painted this for Louis

outside environment and their names are under each dog. Oudry uses elements of
art such as texture and shape. The dog s fur are depicted by soft lines used by
Oudry. He also uses shape to show objects and represent what they are. For
example, in this painting, we can see that the pillar behind these two dogs are
made up of a cube and a cylinder on top to show that it is a pillar. Oudry also uses
principles of art such as proportion and emphasis. Here, we can see that both dogs
are about the same size to show than either of them are the weak or stronger one. He
also uses emphasis on the dogs to show that this painting only focuses on the dogs
and the background objects are not as emphasized because of their size or positioning

History Of The American Western Frontier Through...
Unlike other historical books, this book offers a different angle on viewing the
history of the American western frontier through narratives, testimonies, and primary
documents that capture the true voices of the Native Americans. Spanning across the
1860s to the 1890s, Dee Brown tells the plight of the Native Americans after their
contact with the American settlers and the United Statesgovernment. The repetitive
stories of the Native American groups during the second half of the nineteenth
century the welcoming of white men, the attempt to assimilate or resist, and
eventually the displacement or slaughter of the aboriginals had been told
tendentiously by the very people who drove the Native Americans to the ground.
Most historical writings of the west were great myths tales of fur traders, mountain
men, steamboat pilots, missionaries, schoolmasters, and homesteaders . Described by
Christopher Columbus as decorous and praiseworthy, the aboriginal population has
been pacifistic and open armed ever since the first contact between the New and the
Old World. One can even say that they were naГЇve in the way they embraced the
first people that appeared on their shores in the seventeenth century.
The Native Americans had long inhabited the North America region before the white
men arrived. Each of these thousands of groups had established their diverse culture,
social structure and technology. Although the sheer diversity of these people was
astonishing to the

sources includes the CRT monitor, BNC cables and the heating system. Discussed
the noise sources with Hiro and have planned few modification to the room; based
on Hiro s availability and the availability of the room, we are expected to start

Low Power Noise Tolerant Latch Design
In this paper an ultra low power and probabilistic based noise tolerant latch is
proposed based on Markov Random Field
(MRF) theory. The absorption laws and H tree logic combination techniques are used
to reduce the circuit complexity of MRF noise tolerant latch. The cross coupled
latching mechanism is used at the output of the MRF latch inorder to preserve the
noise tolerant capability of MRF latch. The proposed latch is faster than the latches
presented in the literature and provides low power and high noise immunity.
Hence we can achieve good trade off in terms of performance, robustness and cost.
The latches are evaluated in 180nm CMOS technology. The results obtained show
that the proposed latch consumes low power and highly noise tolerant.
Finally the proposed latch is applied in transmission gate based full adder circuit. In
180nm technology the proposed adder can operate reliably with superior noise
tolerance and low power compared to conventional latch based full adder circuit.
Keywords Markov Random Field (MRF) latch, Markovian Property, C element,
Single Event Upset (SEU), Soft error tolerant, Root Mean Square (RMS) noise
voltage.

Things Fall Apart And Chocolat Analysis
Chocolate Falls Apart
Time and time again, the mantra that one s actions will carry consequences has
been proven true. I too experienced the effects of this statement. When I first moved
to Northville during my early elementary years, I was quite lonely and shy. It was
very difficult for me to adapt to a new school district and leave my old friends from
Farmington behind. To try and fit in better, I decided to become an aggressive
wall ball player since wallball was the favored recess activity at the time. I became
very talented at the game, but one day, I threw the ball too hard and it hit someone
in the eye, landing me in major trouble. In many ways, my experience was similar to
those of the characters in both the novel Things Fall Apart and the movie Chocolat .
In the novel Things Fall Apart , by Chinua Achebe, and the movie Chocolat , directed
by Lasse Hallstrom, the methods characters use to respond to changes in their
surroundings demonstrate that actions carry consequences.
Things Fall Apart and Chocolat share many similarities such as both works showing
that actions carry consequences when characters attempt to respond to changes in
their surroundings. For instance, both Things Fall Apart and Chocolat feature scenes
where characters receive punishment for interacting with outsiders different from the
majority of the population. In Things Fall Apart , many villagers convert from the
Igbo religion to Christianity, a new religion that has recently arrived
A University s Ethics
As Americans look towards the idea of college today, some may agree that the
overall goals of a university have drastically changed since the popularity of higher
education has increased. If one were to ask the universities what their core values
consist of, most institutions would boast about student academics and growth being
at the top of the list. As this response may ring true with most colleges in the US,
specifically smaller schools, the increase in funds for research and athletic programs
have seemingly overtaken the attention of larger, more competitive universities.
Higher educationhas become a more popular choice among ambitious adults,
providing them an opportunity to move up in the working world. Further, with this...

Students, paying thousands of dollars a year to attend college, deserve to receive a
decent education; however, this is an ambiguous outcome when the professors are
not being compensated as well as they should be. The educators are delivering the
actual learning work while most administrative positions sit in an office all day and
get paid more than twice as much for their labor.
The values surrounding university athletics have also become a controversial topic of
interest among Americans. Over the years, collegiate sports, especially football and
basketball, have evolved into commercialized teams around the country. Almost to
the level of a professional team, college athletes receive special treatment and an
excess of benefits; one of the most significant benefits that most of these athletes
collect is free tuition. Depending on the school, colleges will additionally cover a
student s housing, dining, and supply fees; not to mention all of the free equipment
that already comes with being a college athlete. Derek Bok of the Princeton
University Press writes an article about the commercialization and corruption of
college athletics, saying, Admissions offices are importuned to

Prolonging Life Of The Terminally Ill
Prolonging life of the terminally ill is a bioethical decision. Bioethics is the study
of controversial ethical issues that have come about due to advances in biology,
medicine, and technology. Some think it is a simple decision on whether to let the
pacemaker run or turn off, while others agree that it is a much harder decision than
that. The decision of prolonging life comes with medical, moral, financial and legal
obstacles (Butler 2013). Making health decisions is a big part of one s life. These
decisions can affect the happiness and well being of a person. Along with these many
difficult decisions come challenges and obstacles.
The first major challenge when deciding whether to prolong life is the question of
will this help or cure the illness? Sometimes continuing life this way will only make
suffering longer. In some cases, it is not as good as it sounds because of the side
effects that come along with this decision. One side effect is that prolonging life can
disrupt a person s quality of life. Christiaan Barnard says that, I have learned from
my life in medicine that death is not always an enemy. Often it is a medical treatment.
Often it achieves what medicine cannot achieve it stops suffering (Jones p.1).
Although, there are cons to prolonging life there are also pros. When a patient is
having their life prolonged, their health might end up returning to its normal state or
an even better state. The individual may have a bucket list of things they

Not only being exposed in Philadelphia but also the world. To achieve this goal,
media research is used to determine which are the medias that would provide the

Although, online news, newspaper, television, and radio are valuable sources, social
media experts such as Instagramers, Twitter, Facebook, etc. are also invited to
maximize the publication.
Saint Gobain s main goal in creating Future Sensation is to regain brand awareness
in its 350th anniversary and reintroducing the brand in the face of the world.
Labelling itself as a sustainable product manufacturer, the company will make use of
glass and lights that uses sustainable power for the exhibition. To convey the
message, Saint Gobain decided to build five pavillions in Benjamin Franklin
Parkway, utilizing a sensory journey of science, storytelling and millenial art.
In conclusion, Saint Gobain s exhibition concept is marvelous by itself. It is
scientific, interesting, has a millenial vibe for the current generation, and different.
However, any event or campaign would not be successful without a great public
relations planning. Both received the Silver Anvil Award of Excellence given by
Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the collaboration between Saint Gobain
and Browstein was proven to be successful and

  • 1. Generation Differences Essay Writing an essay on the topic of "Generation Differences" can be both challenging and intriguing. The difficulty arises from the need to navigate through the complex layers of various generations, understanding their unique characteristics, values, and perspectives. One must delve into the historical context, social dynamics, technological advancements, and cultural shifts that have shaped each generation. The process of crafting such an essay requires meticulous research to gather relevant information from diverse sources. Analyzing the contrasting viewpoints, experiences, and influences that differentiate one generation from another demands a keen observational eye and an ability to synthesize information coherently. Moreover, addressing the topic necessitates a balanced approach. It's essential to avoid falling into the trap of oversimplification or generalization. Each generation is a product of its time, and exploring the intricacies without succumbing to stereotypes requires a nuanced understanding. Additionally, incorporating a personal touch can enhance the essay's authenticity. Sharing personal experiences or anecdotes related to intergenerational interactions adds depth and relatability to the piece. However, striking the right balance between personal anecdotes and broader societal trends is a delicate task. The essay should also highlight the implications of generational differences in various aspects of life, such as communication styles, work ethics, and social attitudes. • 3. The Debate Over Abortion Essay With the ongoing debate and the advancement of technology in determining the viability of a fetus, abortion, the ending of a pregnancy by removing a fertilized egg, has become increasingly controversial. The morality of abortion has caused many to separate into opposite sides of the spectrum, pro life and pro choice. The arguments over abortion has stirred a continuous debate between a pro choice stance such as that presented by the analogical reasoning of Thomson or Glover s examination of social context and a pro life position argued by a moral view of personhood by Noonan. The ethical arguments presented by the conflicting views in the abortion debate has caused others to taken into consideration a sociological account visible in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Thomson concludes that it does not matter whether or not a fetus is a person because even if a fetus is granted a right to life, it is not accurate to assume that abortion is murder (2, Thomson, CC p.192). Murder is an intentional act that is unjustified while abortion is not direct killing but results in the death of the fetus. For instance, in cases involving rape or other conditions of unintended pregnancies, a woman undergoing abortion is not necessarily committing murder since she was not responsible for an unwanted pregnancy. Therefore, in no case should the personhood of the fetus determine the morality of abortion. Thomson suggests that having a right to life does not grant the right to use another person s body (3, Thomson, CC p.191). In other words, the fetus s right to life does not apply to any moral obligation of the mother s body. Abortion is justifiable because there is no obligation on part of the women for an unwanted pregnancy. In the case of the sick violinist, the kidnapped person is not morally obligated to make sacrifices and save the life of the violinist. Since the violinist has no right to use another person s body, it would not be considered murder or a violation of the violinist s rights if the kidnapped person was to refuse and pull the plug. On the other hand, John Noonan criticizes
  • 4. Vacant Lot Restoration Case Study Vacant Lot Restoration Program is a comprehensive plan to specifically address vacant lots by engaging residents and organizations in their sustainable revitalization by helping underserved, inner city residents green their communities and restore vacant lots by creating neighborhood gardens and green spaces, planting street trees, and establishing tree nurseries (Parks People Foundation, 2002). These efforts were initially undertaken in collaboration with the City Department of Recreation and Parks and funded by Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). The program was officially established through an agreement between the Parks People Foundation (PPF) and DHCD to assist communities neighborhood Service in managing vacant open space through adopting the lot Program. All the agenesis will be defined later in this paper. Overall, the Vacant Lot Restoration Program can be described as successful given that 21 of the original 24 community projects selected as part of the program have accomplished several stages in the restoration process over as many as five semi annual planting seasons (Parks People Foundation, 2002). It empowers over 350 people in 24, and later 30 different communities establishing... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 5. The Causes Of Tim Howard s Tourette Syndrome Tim Howard Tourette Syndrome Tim Howard, an amazing soccer player, also has Tourette syndrome. Tourette s is a disease where people have tics and cannot concentrate on objects or things for a long time. Howard says, Sports were my sanctuary. Being outside, playing soccer or basketball, I wasn t focused on my tics, just on the opponent. I couldn t even tell you if I dealing with tics. Sports were my escape (Zuckerman 11). The main symptoms of Tourette syndrome are tics, involuntary muscle movements (Bjorklund 12). Although unpredictable, tics are more likely to happen when people are sick or anxious (20). The two types of tics, physical and vocal, can range from mild to severe (12). Mild vocal tics include: spitting, sneezing, throat clearing, coughing, sniffing, and grunting. There are mild physical tics also such as sticking out the tongue (21), shoulder shrugging, eye blinking, and head twitching (20). Tourette syndrome is most often inherited genetically. Tourette s is a result of a genetic mutation in the brain s basal gangliaor from a gene mutation in the cerebral cortexof the brain. Scientists also believe this disease can be a result of environmental factors (12). People can get Tourette syndrome from a brain injury or bacterial infections (38). Tourette syndrome is hard to diagnose because there is no test to positively diagnose the disease(14). Tourette syndrome can be a comorbid condition which means that it can be combined with another disease or condition. ADHD is one that can be associated with Tourette syndrome. Doctors diagnose ADHD or other comorbid condition before Tourette syndrome for reasons like it easier to diagnose and it more common to see ADHD than Tourette. OCD, ODD, and Asperger syndrome are comorbid conditions that are often associated with Tourette syndrome (24). Therefore, kids in school with the disease have trouble focusing and need help in school in various ways. In school people with Tourette syndrome can get accommodations through a 504 plan or an Individualized Education Plan (Bjorklund 23). Students may need personal education aid to monitor behavior. Accommodations a student with Tourette syndrome may receive include exemptions from certain assignments,
  • 6. A Report On Vigna Unguiculata Introduction Vigna unguiculata is a common subtropic secondary crop utilized for sustenance amongst populations. Also referred to as the cowpea, this commodity holds great value in tropical Third World nations such as Nigeria since it serves as an inexpensive resource which provides protein and energy (Dauost, 1986). Therefore, it is essential that this crop remains prevalent in today s agricultural world. Unfortunately, Vignaunguiculata faces a large amount of predation from multiple species, one of which is the beanbeetle Callosobruchus maculatus. This pest, along with others, leads to crop failure and a complete loss in the resource for potentially an entire agricultural season. Callosobruchus maculatus, a plant feeding insect, compromises the integrity of Vigna unguiculata populations by using either this plant or other dry bean species as a location to reproduce and lay eggs (Tuda, 2006). Numerous methods to combat this agricultural problem have been tested and observed. One study suggested artificially selecting certain Vigna unguiculata with key enzymes to hinder the growth of Callosobruchus maculatus eggs within the beans (Filho, 1991). However, a definite correlation has not been discovered and more studies are required. Other investigations utilized the implementation of various oils, which functioned as a natural pesticide against Callosobruchus maculatus. Research conducted by R. Rajapakse, professor of veterinary parasitology at the University of

By corrupt, the criminal justice system degrades the power it possesses to perform in its out most potential. By unjust, the criminal justice system disposes of equal treatment and exhibits discrimination of individuals of society. By powerful, the criminal justice system utilizes discretion and fear to respond to situations that entail the lives of racial minorities. It is not surprising these two groups are more prone, yet throughout the remainder of this paper, certain concepts/themes will be further analyzed from a chosen film to portray the reality minorities face with and in the criminal justice system and society. The criminal justice system, in regards to the film Crash, was reflected in such a way that is understood in today s system. • 10. Break Of Day In The Trenches By Isaac Rosenberg Break of Day in the Trenches is by one of the First World War s leading war poets, Isaac Rosenberg. Many often remember Rosenberg as a Jewish English poet, or a poet of war, but there is more to his writing than what meets the eye. Rosenberg died at the age of twenty eight in World War I on April 1, 1918. Critics often say that Isaac was an impressive young poet and that his future was bright in the poetryworld. It can be seen throughout his poems that Isaac incorporates a large amount of symbolism and feeling into his pieces. A primary focus for Rosenberg s poems is centered around the hardship and struggle in war. For example, a few of his most famous poems including Dead Man s Dump, On Receiving News of the War, Soldier: Twentieth Century and Break of Day in the Trenches all incorporate the mentality of a soldier facing battle. It is easy for an individual to talk about the thought of war and the struggle that a soldier may face. Furthermore, Rosenberg wrote from his experience as a young man going through such a horrific event, which allowed his readers to see what he saw, feel what he felt, and undergo what he went through. He mastered this art form in the early years of his life and shared his work with the world. In many cases, he describes an object or occurrence and lets the description do most of the work. On a late autumn day, the speaker stumbles upon an ailing knight and asks what is wrong. The knight reveals that he had fallen in love with a beautiful lady, a faery s child (14), who then abandoned him after professing her love and spending one night together. The speaker is recounting his experience with the knight to his audience. Structurally the poem is a ballad written in twelve quatrains. The knight s personal recount of the lady begins in the fourth stanza. He meets the faery lady in a meadow. He seems instantly captivated by her beauty, stating that her hair was long, her foot was light / and her eyes were wild (14 15). The use of the word wild may suggest that the faery has a feisty, untamed nature. Throughout stanzas four through six, the knight appears to be dominant, as he states he makes all of the moves: I made a garland for her head, (17) and I set her on my pacing steed (21). Keats s use of steed is quite peculiar. It could be taken literally, as in a horse that one rides, or it could be interpreted as an innuendo. The reference to the faery lady making sweet moan in line 20 could allude to an innuendo as well. In stanza VII, we see a shift in focus from the knight to the faery lady. Instead of the knight describing his own actions, he describes the faery lady s actions. She provides the knight with roots of relish sweet, and honey wild, and manna dew (25 26). Both honey and manna are Biblical allusions, but the most peculiar of these is manna. In the book of Exodus, God sent manna to the Israelites as a form of nourishment. Perhaps the faery lady is a form of nourishment for the knight. The lady professes her love for the knight: I love thee true (28). After this profession, the faery lady brings the knight to her elfin grot (29). The knight attempts to

Although Who Killed the Electric Car focuses on ~50 enthusiasts there is no consistent evidence of high potential demand for the EV1. GM made a rational business decision to close down the EV1 At a price point of $50 60K with poorer features than traditional cars demand for the EV1 would be extremely low, and it is unclear whether the EV1 would have ever reached enough scale to be profitable. Given these conditions, it is not unreasonable that GM would discontinue the EV1. Other factors While the demise of the EV was largely a function of viable technology there are several other contextual elements worth noting. Firstly, the decline of oil prices in 1996 decreased the price of substitutes to the EVs and increased demand for traditional cars. In addition, the oil lobbyist s blocking of recharging infrastructure limited important complements for a viable EV market. Secondly, CARB s production requirements contingent upon demonstrated demand created a perverse incentive for car manufacturers to suppress demand for their vehicles if they believed that consumer demand (at a profitable price) would fall below CARB s mandated levels. The impact was that even if the EV was not viable at the time, manufacturers were encouraged to stop exploring improvements to make the EV viable in the future to avoid signaling a future demand to CARB. Viable EVs, but CARB should be careful

The psychoanalysis involved the study of the human mind in finding out how humans deal with different situations especially problems. Most notably, Freud posited the fact that the malaise suffered by human beings is caused solely by the events they choose to push to the back of the mind. In order for an individual to function, the ego needs to create a balance with the identity of the person. Otherwise, this would lead to problems being created. Further, Freud argues that the social morality regulating human behavior is informed by the superego of the individual. This is illustrated in Freudian slips where our unconscious being has been established to interfere with some of the human action. Another philosopher that makes Sophie s world is Groucho Marx. Marx advances the supposition that history was driven forward by material aspects. According to him, the present that we experience today was as a result of material desires that further shaped our well being. This can also be said of the other philosophers including Hume, Berkeley, Bjerkely, Locke, Spinoza and

A Study aim To identify the risk factors for hypertensive encephalopathy amongst patients seen in the Emergency Department (ED) and assess whether calcium channel blockers play a role in preventing hypertensive encephalopathy. B Background and significance Hypertension is a very common problem, affecting 1 billion people worldwide, with 50 million cases in the United States, and one third of cases going undiagnosed. 1% of the cases will experience a hypertensive emergency in their life. (1,2) Although 1% is not a high number, the complications for that percentage are very costly and disable things like End Stage renal disease, Stroke, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The symptoms are usually reversible with adequate and prompt control of the blood pressure. (6) The aim of the study is to identify if patients on CCB have less of a chance of developing hypertensive encephalopathy than those treated with different antihypertensive medications. Calcium channel blockers are a group of medications used to treat Hypertension, and also used as prophylactic treatments for migraines. They interfere with calcium influx to the arterial wall, which cause arterial dilatation and relaxation of the arteries and hence lowers blood pressure. Nicardipine is one of the CCB s used commonly in treating stroke patients with very high and uncontrolled hypertension. (6) Nicardipine crosses the blood brain barrier which binds to the calcium channels of the L type, acting primarily at the level of the hippocampus (7). Intravenous Nicardipine has been shown to reduce both cardiac and cerebral ischemia(8). We want to observe if the patient treated with calcium channel blockers medication as outpatient home medication has less hypertensive encephalopathy complications. Moreover, we went to test if calcium channel blockers play any protective role against patients developing hypertensive encephalopathy. C Innovation of this study There is multiple studies about the use of CCB s in treating Hypertensive emergencies, one study in 1985 shows that CCB s and specifically the Nicardipine could be used as first line drug in management

Analysis Of The Book White Noise Alaina Tillman Richard Potter TR: 9:30 10:50 Final Paper Rough Draft White noise is a very comprehensive novel that relates to many different themes and has a very set foundation on which the author builds upon. White Noise, consists of a chorus of background sounds that hum throughout the narrative, thus justifying and supporting the name of the book. The supermarket is filled with a multitude of different sounds and effects, commercials and bits and pieces from the television punctuate throughout the story, and characters within the story such as Babette hums in order to fill the empty space of silence. Jack looks upon the world within the story as a foundation of dissonance, such as a stream of sounds. Jack looks upon this foundation as partly human, and partly artificial. Jack and Babette that contemplate the idea of death and that perhaps death is nothing but an terrible, never ending surge of white noise, and so this white noise permeates and is conveyed into the narrative and becomes a huge chunk of it, just as how death had became a natural part of every other conversation had by the characters. This shows that the idea of death had hit the characters in a very soft spot. These noises are not simply overshadowed through life, but they are rather a major component of life and the concreteness through which each and every single day is made. Themes of fear, use of technology, and tension between reality and artificial substance is made throughout the novel.

It is not hard for me to believe a person without a relative but it is hard for me to even imagine of a person without any good friend. A good friend fill up the vacuum which no family members can. No matter how close bond a person share with the family, there is always a limit beyond which a person cannot express their thoughts or confess about their problems to family members. A good friend remain unaffected by these limits and a person can pour their heart out in front of them. A friend plays a very poignant role in a person s life. There are many characteristics of a good friend. One of those characteristics is loyalty. A person can never be considered a good friend if he or she is not loyal. That s the reason why a dog is considered to be man s best friend. A good friend is someone who will remain loyal and stick with us even during bad phase of our life. When a person is strike upon by adversity, disappointment surrounds from all directions and darkness engulf a person s happy life then only a good friend comes as a ray of hope to illuminate a person s life and rescue them from being drown in the calamity. For example, during bad times, failure in exams, rejection in job, family problems, break up; a good friend support us morally, physically and financially and help us to relive

This conspiracy is that there was more than just one shooter and that there was a larger group group behind the event other than just Oswald himself. There are quite a few events that occured that make this theory that much more believable. The two things that happened that stand out to me the most are the murder of Oswald just two days after JFK s death and the fact that after audio analysis the HSCA concluded that there was a fourth gun shot. Oswald was arrested soon after killing JFK but two days later when He was being transferred from city jail to county jail he was shot at close range and killed by Jack Ruby. (Victor, 2017)This lead some people tof believe that Oswald was part of a larger group or organization that had helped him plan the assassination and that Jack Ruby was sent to Oswald to make sure he would not expose the group. The second bit of evidence that is very compelling is in the audio recordings of the assassination. After analyzing the Audio recording of the assassination the HSCA conclude

What progress has or can be made to break through it for all employees? What about glass walls? The glass cliff? Are these real roadblocks for men and women in certain careers or is there more to them than gender? A glass ceilingis defined as a barrier that prevents a particular gender from rising reaching a particular hierarchical level in a workplace. Today the glass ceiling is still very intact especially in the case of women. Despite the fact that women and the feminist have been fighting for their rights in the society for so long which they have been gaining in the recent few years, it can be true to say that the glass ceiling for the women still exists for particular reasons (Cocco, 2008). The reasons include the fact that men still hold the top workplace positions and inequalities in the paternity as well as the maternity leaves. Furthermore, the stereotype against women is not 100% gone. For the men, the glass ceiling does not exist. These can be brought down by the adoption of the zero tolerance policies for activities such as discrimination. Glass walls are blocks that prevent individuals from interrelating downwards in a workplace. This mainly exists in activities such as coaching (Shields, 2016). This ... However, if the teller and audience of the joke were Jewish, the joke would then be comprehended in a different light. The Jewish would take the joke from someone within their group and enjoy it because of a sense of pride, connecting Jewish life to elevated expectancy they would be happy to be known for (Qtd. Improving The Best Of Existing State Standards Structuring on the best of existing state standards, the Common Core State Standards provide a clear and reliable learning goal to help prepare students for college, career, and life. The standards clearly demonstrate what students are expected to learn at each grade level, so that every parent and teacher can understand and support their learning. From Kindergarten through 8th grade, grade by grade standards exist in English language arts/literacy and mathematics. From 9th through 12th grade, the standards are grouped into grade sets of 9th through 10th grade standards and 11th through 12th grade standards. Moreover, the CCSS stress the importance of using primary texts in the classroom to build literacy, along with many other things. While the standards set grade specific goals, they do not define how the standards should be taught or which materials should be used to support students. States and districts know that there will need to be a range of supports in place to guarantee that all students, including those with special needs and English language learners, can master the standards. It is up to the states to outline the full range of supports appropriate for these students. Since the release of the final standards in 2010, a two party mix of organizations representing parents, teachers, business leaders, and other key voices have strongly supported the Common Core State Standards. The fundamentalists became visible again in the last third of the 20th century, reacting against the liberal trends in major Protestant churches. Catholicism The fundamentalist movement in the Catholic Church has not been significant. The infallibility of the Bible is not a dogma for Catholics, thus offering little ground for fundamentalism. Catholicism allows some leeway for developing dogma (John Henry Newman ) as well as for the importance of tradition and, in contrast to the fundamentalists, it does not consider the Bible to be the only authority. Catholic movements today emphasize the conservative pontifical documents from the last few centuries and are wary of the more moderate decrees of Vatican II (Monsignor LefГЁbvre s anti Vatican II movement in France is a vivid example). These movements did not draw undue attention from the hierarchy , but they did influence certain informal developers of fundamentalism among some Catholics. Some such influences came from relations with Protestants such as through charismatic movements that crossed denominational borders. Unlike other historical books, this book offers a different angle on viewing the history of the American western frontier through narratives, testimonies, and primary documents that capture the true voices of the Native Americans. Spanning across the 1860s to the 1890s, Dee Brown tells the plight of the Native Americans after their contact with the American settlers and the United Statesgovernment. The repetitive stories of the Native American groups during the second half of the nineteenth century the welcoming of white men, the attempt to assimilate or resist, and eventually the displacement or slaughter of the aboriginals had been told tendentiously by the very people who drove the Native Americans to the ground. Most historical writings of the west were great myths tales of fur traders, mountain men, steamboat pilots, missionaries, schoolmasters, and homesteaders . Described by Christopher Columbus as decorous and praiseworthy, the aboriginal population has been pacifistic and open armed ever since the first contact between the New and the Old World. The absorption laws and H tree logic combination techniques are used to reduce the circuit complexity of MRF noise tolerant latch. The cross coupled latching mechanism is used at the output of the MRF latch inorder to preserve the noise tolerant capability of MRF latch. The proposed latch is faster than the latches presented in the literature and provides low power and high noise immunity. Hence we can achieve good trade off in terms of performance, robustness and cost. The latches are evaluated in 180nm CMOS technology. The results obtained show that the proposed latch consumes low power and highly noise tolerant. Finally the proposed latch is applied in transmission gate based full adder circuit. In 180nm technology the proposed adder can operate reliably with superior noise tolerance and low power compared to conventional latch based full adder circuit.
