This document summarizes research into understanding the temperature dependence of local domain photophysics. The research aims to understand how changing temperature affects photophysical processes like domain exchanges and chromophore depopulation. Experiments use confocal fluorescence microscopy to study probes like violamine R in polymer domains like poly(vinyl alcohol) across a range of temperatures. Power law and memory plots of fluorescence traces provide information on photophysical kinetics and domain interactions. Future work will explore different probes and polymer domains to better understand how probe-domain properties influence photophysics.
