Duties and Responsibilities as Safety Officer/Project Nurse:
- Delivers a comprehensive and safe nursing practice related to health, risks, accidents,
injuries, hazards and other unsafe conditions
- Stores, administers and controls medical supplies, medicines and equipment in the
project site
- Completes all administrative tasks such as report writing, maintenance of accurate

Duties and Responsibilities as Emergency Medical Technician/Transport Officer:
- Efficient familiarity with the ambulance / first responder unit - design, capabilities and
limitations
- Ensures safety – practices and maintains safety while driving, as well as the security of the
clients and crew on board, including the vehicle itself
- Upon reaching the site, assists the medical team for a speedy assessment and treatment
in case the client needs to be stabilized first
- Ascertains the welfare of client on board
- Respects traffic rules and regulations and desists from abusing privileges as a transport
officer of a marked vehicle with respect as well for the company’s reputation
- Consistently and honestly communicates unit movement with the dispatch’s operations
at all times
- Sees to the repairs and maintenance of the ambulance so as to secure its optimum
performance
- Efficiently cascades if something has gone wrong or amiss with the unit whether due to
accident or simply needs repair
- Informs about road conditions ahead that may significantly affect the comfort of his team
and the client
- Conducts post-run inspection of the vehicle for any damages to properly document his
findings on the endorsement sheet, countersigned by the designated shift Team Leader
and informs his Shift Manager of the incident
