DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the general activities of the accident and emergency department
3. 2. First responder to an accident scene, provide stabilization, resuscitation and other life
support, and moving a patient in a safe and efficient manner and ensuring the
continuing care of the patient while en-route to the hospital based on the guidelines of
European Resuscitation Council
3. Assess, examine and treat condition, which do not require physician’s evaluation on
the basis of established protocols or hospital procedures for patient care
4. Perform invasive procedure such as IV cannulation and blood extraction
5. Administer and dispense medications as appropriate from approved list of
medications, obtaining a physician’s order for the medications as required by the law
6. Keeping and maintaining the emergency room ready at all times including the
equipment and its functions.
7. Assisting in the transport of the patient to appropriate medical facility in a safe and
efficient manner through ambulance
