Gardner syndrome is an autosomal dominant condition characterized by multiple polyps in the colon and tumors outside the colon. Common features include osteomas of the skull, dental abnormalities like impacted teeth, and skin findings like epidermoid cysts. Treatment involves surgery to remove polyps and tumors due to the high risk of colon cancer. Orthodontic treatment is difficult due to increased bone density. There is no cure and advanced cases have a life expectancy of 35-45 years with palliative care.
