Hawkeye uses six high-speed cameras to track the ball's trajectory with 3mm precision, helping determine if a ball would hit the wicket. Hot Spot uses infrared cameras to detect heat from friction when the ball contacts the bat, pad, or wicket. A speed gun measures the ball's speed by timing the round trip of an infrared laser burst reflecting off the ball. An inbuilt speed sensor ball measures its speed from the bowler's hand to impact. Snickometer analyzes sound waves to determine if the ball hit the bat or pads when caught behind the wicket.
