On June 17, 2015, the National Coalition for Technology in Education and Training (NCTET) and the Education and Technology and Telecommunications Taskforces of the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities hosted Seizing Opportunity in the Digital Age: The Intersection of Technology and Special Education, a special event to discuss the intersection of technology and special education. Moderator Alexa Posny (former Assistant Secretary for the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services) discussed how special education teachers have led the way for technology innovation, and Project Tomorrow CEO Julie Evans provided Speak Up 2014 data, focusing on 4,475 special education teachers’ thoughts on digital learning. Featured educator panelists Kate Nagle (The Ivy Mount School, Rockville, MD), Caroline Hill (E.L. Haynes High School, Washington, D.C.), and Angela Foreman (Jamestown Elementary School, Arlington, VA) gave insight into how their schools and classrooms have used technology to advance special education and benefit students with disabilities.
This event was made possible by NCTET and the Education and Technology and Telecommunications Taskforces of the Consortium for Citizens, with the live stream provided by Discovery Education.
CADIE in-service teacher training course was developed and adapted to UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers (CFT Version 3) and built by adapting and supplementing existing Open Educational Resources (OER).

With the rapid popularization of Internet technology, the traditional teaching mode in colleges has been unable to meet the current teaching needs. How to make better use of Internet technology to realize online and offline mixed teaching during the epidemic is an important issue. The purpose of this paper is to examine the factors affecting online learning. Our results demonstrated that self-control, course interest, teacher’s teaching style and method, and teaching platform are essential factors affecting online learning.

• This internship is offered by Andhra Pradesh school education
department, in collaboration with the higher education department.
• It is intended for to get Knowledge and can further empower students
to provide hands-on training on integrating digital devices and utilizing
various digital assets.
• The duration of this Internship is 4 months during January-April 2024
4. Course Modules
• Module 1: Status on Digital Infrastructure in Schools.
• Module 2: Uptime of all the digital infrastructure in schools and the action taken by
schools during the downtime during the academic year 2023-24.
• Module 3: Usage of Digital Infrastructure by different stakeholders
• Module 4: The efforts made by the Future Skill Experts to engage with the teachers have
significantly enhanced technology-led teaching and learning
• Module 5: Efforts made by the Future Skill Experts to promote increased usage of tablets among
8th and 9th-grade students
• Module 6: Exposing the Class VII students to the Future Skill subject which is going to be
introduced next academic year in Class VIII from 12th June 2024.

8. Learning outcome
• The student experts will motivate government school students and teachers to use and become
proficient in managing digital infrastructure.
• Experts will also train teachers in technology-led teaching via digital assets.
• The Experts will guide teachers in using interactive flat panels and student tablets for a period of
three to four months.
• To prepare students for global competition, focusing on emerging technologies like artificial
intelligence, data management, machine learning, chat GPT, web 3.0, augmented reality, IoT, etc.
