Membership is open to those who –
 Affirm NJ-FSBO’s statement of commitment;
 Have an ethos, aims and objectives compatible with NJ-FSBO;
 Support the objectives of NJ-FSBO;
 Affirm NJ-FSBO’s Principles of Cooperation (please sign and return attached copy with this form);
 Are in operation in the counties of Monmouth & Ocean for at least two years prior to application.
Membership applications must be accompanied by a copy of the applicant’s statement of
cooperation and the fee of $50.

2. NJ-FSBO Basis of
Community
Each of the members of NJ-FSBO agree to the following code of ethics and commitment:
1. Consistency: Establish and maintain a positive track record in the marketplace.
2. Honesty: Honestly represent products and services, including clear and adequate disclosures of
all material terms.
3. Agree to a Quality Survey for each service which results through NJ-FSBO.
4. Full Disclosure: Identify the nature, location, and ownership of the business.
5. Commitment: Abide by all written agreements and verbal representations.
6. Responsible: Address marketplace disputes quickly, professionally, and in good faith.
7. Respect Privacy: Protect any data collected against mishandling and fraud; collect personal
information only as needed.
8. Community: Refrain from negative discussions or undocumented actions of NJ-FSBO
members.
