PRINCIPAL APPLICATIONS
It’s specially designed for decolorization, improvement of physical and chemical indexes including
transmittance and turbidity, removal of harmful substances, such as patulin and pesticides, and
increase of the color stability as well.
Besides industrially used in fruit juice, such as apple, orange , pera, pinapple, grape and
pomegranate juice treatment.
SUGGESTED LABORATORY OPERATIONS
1. Column selection
Glass column D:H=1.6-1.9 (Diameter and Height ratio)
Resin volume 80% of the glass column volumn. No bubble inside resin layer.
2. Pretreatment of new resin
NaOH solution wash
Solvent 2% NaOH solution 80oC
Volume 3-4 bed volumes
Flow rate (3-4 BV) 1-2 BV/hr
