Step 1. Stop polluting the fresh water we have. Industries have to collect, keep safe and recycle their waste waters, those that are not possible to recycle they should keep indefinitely locked in a safe repository. The cost of doing this should be included in their products and services.

The oceans, rivers and lakes should not be used to dump waste water to “save” money. If society need drainage systems or waste dumps we should built them. Step 4. We need to preserve the natural resources we already have in the form of rivers, lakes and oceans.
