3. The need for fresh water and the problems to obtain it is widely known. So I am not going to discuss them it here. I am going to enounce 6 steps necessary to resolve it. Introduction …

5. Step 1. Stop polluting the fresh water we have. Industries have to collect, keep safe and recycle their waste waters, those that are not possible to recycle they should keep indefinitely locked in a safe repository. The cost of doing this should be included in their products and services.

7. Water should be kept when we can get it and use it when and where we need it. We should construct more dams and wells in every city, house and farm. We should create a new grid system to collect y store rain water everywhere. Even in the oceans. Because it is the place where it rains the most. We need to build the distribution network to deliver the fresh water where we need it, even if it is far away from the repositories. Step 2. We have to build as many fresh water repositories as we possibly can.

9. In every desert and arid zones we should use salted water from the sea to create a new water cycle among them in the form of Oasis. Creating lakes and rivers of salted water for salted water farms. Such Oasis should have all kinds of flora and fauna that grows in salted water and mangrove trees, salicornio, seaweed and fish farms. Step 3. We need to revert desertification using salted water

11. The oceans, rivers and lakes should not be used to dump waste water to “save” money. If society need drainage systems or waste dumps we should built them. Step 4. We need to preserve the natural resources we already have in the form of rivers, lakes and oceans.

13. Agriculture is among all human activities the one that uses more water about 70% . Approximately 80% of the water we use to irrigate plantations is lost due to evaporation and filtration. We need to use alternate irrigation systems like gelatin and dropping water etc. etc. Step 5. We need to improve our irrigation methods

15. We need to use dry toilets. Houses should have 3 different circuits of water to separate fresh water, gray water and black water in order to minimize the treatment to recycle them. We need research and learning about how to minimize the fresh water consumption in our day to day lives. We need not to use fresh water in our gardens, to clean our cars and houses with fresh waters but with treated gray water instead. Step 6. We should not waste fresh water in our daily lives in our houses and offices .

17. Implementing theses steps is a big enterprise and opportunity for the human kind to create wealth and health as we have never seen before. It will take a lot of educated people, equipment and entrepreneurs to do it. All the money needed will be a great invest.

19. There are many other ways to save fresh water and improve the use of it already known but there are a lot more we do not know yet. We need to invest in research, education and infrastructure. It is not an spend for society, it is instead a great investment where there are a lot of wealth and money to be done.
