One:Time:Zone is an events production company specialising

MLA True Communications is the Brazilian operation for VERO
Communications which is a strategic communications consultancy that
works in the business of sport and advises leading decision makers in
world sport, major sports clubs and brands as well as sports

Foot in Brazil provided the security programme and logistical support for Getty Images during the FIFA World
Cup in Brazil. This included transportation solutions within Rio de Janeiro, detailed security risk assessment for
the host cities, staff security awareness training, daily security briefings and operations centre support.
Foot in Brazil are currently consulting to a number of National Olympic Committees, National Paralympic
Committees and National Sports Federations on their plans and preparations for the Rio 2016 Games.
Supporting with a range of services including training camp, venue and accommodation finding and project
management, site visit logistics and sports specific research.
As Head of Summer Sport Engagement and Deputy Chef de Mission for the British Olympic Association, Tanya
was responsible for the sport engagement programme for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Managing the
relationship with the 26 (39 disciplines) National Governing Bodies and LOCOG sport department. She delivered
the Sport Team Leader programme and workshops, One Team GB project, pre Games Olympic park elite athlete
training, Games time training venues, Test Event programme, home Games initiatives and sports specific
projects.
FOOT IN BRAZIL
ONE : TIME : ZONE is run by Flora Pessanha, who has worked on major projects throughout her ten year
career such as the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Bid, the Laureus World Sports Awards in Rio de Janeiro
as well as the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development - Rio+20 - before launching ONE: TIME:
ZONE in 2013.
ONE : TIME : ZONE's recent projects have included III World Economy Forum, in NYC, where Olivier
Blanchard, chief economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), presented an overview of the status of the
world economy, alongside prominent international economist and business leaders.
ONE : TIME : ZONE was also the local producer for Belmondo par Belmondo documentary, a film created by
Paul Belmondo, together with his iconic father, M. Jean Paul Belmondo, which tells the story of his career. The
project included devising a shooting schedule, negotiating venues and suppliers, arranging temporary
importation of materials (federal custom clearance); hiring of a specialized team and production management.
More recently, ONE : TIME : ZONE was responsible for producing the official launch party of "Those Who
Inspire, UAE" under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan. The event was held at the Park Hyatt Dubai to
celebrate the inspiring Emirati featured in the book. The aim of the book is to provide motivation for the younger
generation by sharing the success stories of a diverse group of their fellow Emiratis from all walks of life.
ONE : TIME : ZONE

MLA True Communications was founded in Brazil in May 2011 and is the Brazilian operation for VERO
Communications. VERO was launched in 2006, following Chairman Mike Lee OBE’s role as Director of
Communications and Public Affairs for London’s successful 2012 Olympic bid. MLA True Communications’
clients in Brazil include Host City Belo Horizonte and Fight for Peace, a NGO which combines boxing & martial
arts with education and personal development in communities affected by crime and violence.
During London 2012, VERO worked with Rio 2016 and COB to source the venue for its Olympic House ‘Casa
Brasil’ during London 2012. Somerset House offered a beautiful setting to showcase real Brazilian experiences
and culture, and provided the ideal venue to celebrate the nation’s sporting achievements and the handover of
the Olympic spirit from London to Rio. VERO and MLA True Communications managed the media for Casa
Brasil and 170 reports featured in national/international outlets as a result.
VERO also helped to devise the strategy for the Qatar House concept and location during London 2012. VERO
created a shortlist of venues that met QH requirements and conducted venue tours to identify the best option for
the event which was Savoy Place. A creative brief was set by the VERO team for the event agencies which led
to a co-ordinated approach for the function and look and feel of the guest experience. VERO also created and
activated the communications plans and comprehensive reports featured in national/international outlets.

Tanya Harris has 15 years of experience in the sport industry, most recently as
the Head of Summer Sport Engagement for the British Olympic Association.
Previously she was also the Chief Operating Officer for the British Paralympic
Association and Events Director for the international sports agency ‘Fast
Track’.
She has worked with three Games organising committees, London, Vancouver
and Beijing. Tanya has held the following positions:
• Deputy Chef de Mission for Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
• Deputy Chef de Mission for Paralympics GB at the Beijing 2008
& Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games.
• UK Sport Major Event Panel member 2010 to 2012.

Flora Pessanha is a lawyer with 10 years experience in the events
management business and has worked with the largest national and
international companies in the industry operating in Brazil. FIFA World Cup
2010 South Africa, New Year's Eve Celebration at Copacabana Beach, Rio
2016 Olympic and Paralympic Campaign Bid, Rio + 20 – UAE Delegation,
Red Bull Cliff Diving 2013, FIFA Final Draw 2013 and Rock in Rio 2013 are
few of the main projects where Flora has worked as a producer.

Marlene holds a Bachelor in International Business is a global
communications specialist and consultant for International Affairs. She has
worked for the last 18 years in collaboration with many governments and
businessmen in more than eighty countries. In 2003 she started her first
company specialized in Communication, Publishing & Consultancy. Two
years ago she became a social entrepreneur with the objective of inspiring
the Youth by giving them local role models, and launched a book collection
entitled “Those Who Inspire”. The first book was on the Sultanate of Oman;
soon she is launching “UAE: Those Who Inspire”, and more to come like
Nigeria and France in the pipeline.

MIKE LEE OBE
CHAIRMAN OF VERO | MLA TRUE COMMUNICATIONS
Mike Lee OBE founded VERO in 2006 following his role as Director of
Communications and Public Affairs for London’s successful London 2012 Olympic
bid. He was Director of Communications and Public Affairs for European football’s
governing body, UEFA (2000-2004) and media and political strategist for the English
Premier League (1994-2000).
Mike has been involved in a number of successful bid campaigns, including Buenos
Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games, PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games, Rio 2016
Summer Games, the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup and the inclusion of Rugby in the
Olympic Programme. Mike also advised Brian Cookson during his winning
campaign for the Presidency of the International Cycling Union (UCI).

HETTIE ALLISON
BRAZIL MANAGER OF MLA TRUE COMMUNICATIONS
Hettie Allison is a communications consultant, with fourteen years experience in the
industry, who has worked on a wide selection of international and national events and
campaigns. With an acute knowledge of the communications world, Hettie has extensive
experience of sponsorship activations, campaign delivery, media delivery, and crisis
management. Hettie recently worked with the City Hall of Belo Horizonte regarding their
communications strategy and international media delivery around their pivotal role within
the 2014 FIFA World Cup and also managed the international media programme at Casa
Brasil during London 2012.

  • 12. OUR EXPERIENCEOUR EXPERIENCE Foot in Brazil provided the security programme and logistical support for Getty Images during the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. This included transportation solutions within Rio de Janeiro, detailed security risk assessment for the host cities, staff security awareness training, daily security briefings and operations centre support. Foot in Brazil are currently consulting to a number of National Olympic Committees, National Paralympic Committees and National Sports Federations on their plans and preparations for the Rio 2016 Games. Supporting with a range of services including training camp, venue and accommodation finding and project management, site visit logistics and sports specific research. As Head of Summer Sport Engagement and Deputy Chef de Mission for the British Olympic Association, Tanya was responsible for the sport engagement programme for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Managing the relationship with the 26 (39 disciplines) National Governing Bodies and LOCOG sport department. She delivered the Sport Team Leader programme and workshops, One Team GB project, pre Games Olympic park elite athlete training, Games time training venues, Test Event programme, home Games initiatives and sports specific projects. ONE : TIME : ZONE is run by Flora Pessanha, who has worked on major projects throughout her ten year career such as the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Bid, the Laureus World Sports Awards in Rio de Janeiro as well as the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development - Rio+20 - before launching ONE: TIME: ZONE in 2013. ONE : TIME : ZONE's recent projects have included III World Economy Forum, in NYC, where Olivier Blanchard, chief economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), presented an overview of the status of the world economy, alongside prominent international economist and business leaders. ONE : TIME : ZONE was also the local producer for Belmondo par Belmondo documentary, a film created by Paul Belmondo, together with his iconic father, M. Jean Paul Belmondo, which tells the story of his career. The project included devising a shooting schedule, negotiating venues and suppliers, arranging temporary importation of materials (federal custom clearance); hiring of a specialized team and production management. More recently, ONE : TIME : ZONE was responsible for producing the official launch party of "Those Who Inspire, UAE" under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan. The event was held at the Park Hyatt Dubai to celebrate the inspiring Emirati featured in the book. The aim of the book is to provide motivation for the younger generation by sharing the success stories of a diverse group of their fellow Emiratis from all walks of life.   • 14. MLA True Communications was founded in Brazil in May 2011 and is the Brazilian operation for VERO Communications. VERO was launched in 2006, following Chairman Mike Lee OBE’s role as Director of Communications and Public Affairs for London’s successful 2012 Olympic bid. MLA True Communications’ clients in Brazil include Host City Belo Horizonte and Fight for Peace, a NGO which combines boxing & martial arts with education and personal development in communities affected by crime and violence. During London 2012, VERO worked with Rio 2016 and COB to source the venue for its Olympic House ‘Casa Brasil’ during London 2012. Somerset House offered a beautiful setting to showcase real Brazilian experiences and culture, and provided the ideal venue to celebrate the nation’s sporting achievements and the handover of the Olympic spirit from London to Rio. VERO and MLA True Communications managed the media for Casa Brasil and 170 reports featured in national/international outlets as a result. VERO also helped to devise the strategy for the Qatar House concept and location during London 2012. VERO created a shortlist of venues that met QH requirements and conducted venue tours to identify the best option for the event which was Savoy Place. A creative brief was set by the VERO team for the event agencies which led to a co-ordinated approach for the function and look and feel of the guest experience.
