Senior Project Manager, Pro & Celebrity Marketing
Working directly with the Director of Pro and Celebrity Marketing, I am
responsible for managing the departmental budget (in excess of 5+ million
dollars), as well as all reporting and analysis functions of the department. I also
oversee all contract negotiations and processes pertaining to the 40+ poker
professionals and celebrities that endorse our brand worldwide. I manage all
special projects given to me by the Director – from inception to execution -
such as PokerStars Radio and the PokerStars Lounge at the 2015 World
Series of Poker.
I also act as the charity liaison for the department, working with the Head of
Corporate giving on all charity projects involving our Pros and Celebrities.
Recently, we have partnered with Prostate Cancer UK and organised Lads’
Night In. We also have a standing partnership with Right To Play, for which, I
created the pitch document and oversee all Pro involvement, including
participating in a trip to Uganda to see the program in action.

Senior Manager, Pro & Celebrity Marketing
Managed the day-to-day workings of the Pro & Celebrity Marketing
Department. Supervised 5 direct reports and reported to the Director.
Responsibilities included: managing the departmental budget, as well as all
reporting and analysis functions. Conducted mid-year and year-end reviews for
direct reports, while providing career coaching and development. Managed a
roster of 50+ poker professionals and celebrities that represent the brand
worldwide. This includes contract negotiations, managing the contract process,
ensuring all representatives are within (and not in breach of) contract, media
and PR requests, television and radio appearances, as well as print media
placement. Responsible for the implementation and management of marketing
and online campaigns involving the roster of poker professionals and
celebrities.
2010 –2012 Halfords Media London, UK
Senior Event Manager, UK and Ireland, and North American Poker Tours
Managed all logistics and ran poker tournaments for 1000+ poker players in
North America, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Responsibilities included
managing budgets in excess of $3 million, staffing, housing and relationship
management with all suppliers.

Assistant Olympic Program Manager
Assisted with planning several corporate programs for the Vancouver 2010
Winter Olympics. Clients included Petro-Canada and CTV, interfacing daily
with clients and suppliers.
Developed logistical plans and the on-site collaterals for each program,
creating and edited copy for a number of programs and proposals – each
tailored to a specific audience, event and desired effect.
Developed business proposals for potential London 2012 clients
On-site responsibilities included: overseeing the day-to-day running of the
Olympic Suite as well as Olympic Ticket distribution, hospitality, food and
beverage, entertainment, and athlete appearances, while managing a staff of
four.

Maritz Canada, Debut Global, Sunquest Meetings and Incentives, and Meridican
Incentive Concepts.
Responsible for on-site logistics for several corporate events worldwide both
small and large scale.
On site responsibilities include logistics management for the duration of each
event; including accommodations, production and entertainment, as well as
troubleshooting any unforeseen matters that arose during the course of the event.
Highlights:
2006 Winter Olympic Games: I was a ticketing lead for San Paulo Bank. I was
responsible for two separate programs and a staff of ten locals.
2008 Beijing Olympic Games: I was an Assistant Program Manager for the Audi
MIP program for Jet Set Sports hosting local Chinese dignitaries and heads of
government from the surrounding provinces
Gained working knowledge of production, guerrilla marketing, and PR while
dealing with a diverse cross-section of clients, players and VIP celebrities alike,
while managing logistics and 1,500 for three years at the World Series of Poker in
Las Vegas for the largest online poker site in the world.
