This document discusses how the film 8thWonderProductionz challenged conventions of thriller movies in its camera shots, angles, sound, mise-en-scene, narrative, and challenges to the genre. It utilized similar shot types as thrillers like medium close-ups for conversations but also experimented, using slow meaningful music instead of high tension music. It featured costumes and locations to portray its gang-based story and Black lead character, challenging the typical middle-aged white male lead found in London thrillers.
