Spanish music has many types that are an important part of Spanish culture and folklore. Some of the main types discussed are flamenco, rock and roll, pop, folk, reggaeton, and salsa. The flamenco is a very old and has many variants: seguiriya, solea, the martinete and the fandango. Flamenco dancing is done together with the cante (typical flamenco songs), some dances are the alegrías, bulerías, sevillanas and verdiales.
