In 2011, the European Commission concluded in its white paper “Roadmap to a Single European Transport Area” that the phase-out of fossil fuels driven cars by 2050 was necessary to achieve its energy and climate objectives. In 2019, as part of the European Green Deal, the Commission is proposing to revise the regulation on CO2 standards for cars and vans, to ensure a clear pathway towards zero-emission mobility.
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions due to road transport have grown since 1990 by 20.5%, and now account for one-fifth of EU GHG emissions – and they keep growing. The picture is similar regarding final energy consumption. Road transport uses 24% of EU final energy, having grown by 28% since 1990.
The good news is that a zero-emission technology is ready today for market uptake: the battery electric vehicle. From day one this vehicle completely cuts local GHG and air pollutant emissions and emits three times less GHG emissions on a well-to-wheel basis. On a life cycle basis (“cradle to grave”), a battery electric vehicle also generates significantly less GHG emissions than cars using gasoline or diesel. Moreover, the full decarbonisation of the electricity system, which is foreseen well before 2050, will enable battery electric vehicles to make transport fully climate-neutral.
Electrifying road transport is also the fastest and most cost-effective way to achieve energy efficiency goals because it is the asset with the highest replacing rate (average car ownership period 5-7 years1)and is currently at least 2.5 times more efficient than alternative technologies.
On 28 November 2019 the European Parliament declared a climate emergency and its Members asked for immediate and ambitious action to limit the effects of climate change2. Battery electric vehicles are ready to contribute to addressing this challenge. What is needed now is to accelerate the deployment of full electric vehicles.
Copper is one of the main materials that makes this transition possible. On average a battery electric vehicle requires three times more copper than a vehicle driven by a combustion engine. Half of it is in the battery system, mainly as foil in the anode of the cell working as current collector and heat dissipator. About one quarter is in the drive motors and their control system, and the other quarter is in wire harness, connectors and electronics. In addition, copper plays a role in the charging infrastructure and in the generation of renewable electricity to power the vehicles.

Design of Multi Cleaning System Using Steam
The multi cleaning system is supposed to be system that uses steam which can clean up things that are used by human in day to day life. The commercial detergent washers are compared with the system and it was found that the washing is very convenient and soapy forms are not produced that made the washing very clumsy. The removal of bacterial populations formed on surface of any material would be totally eradicated. The surface to be cleaned are given bath with steam with high pressure from 3 bar to 7 bar by which removal of dirt and stain particles were washed off very comfortably. High pressure steam would be generated by heat the water in the tank which will mounted on the system itself. The reason behind using the steam for washing purpose is the less wastage of water and also its availability. The development of steam based cleaning system has revolutionized the process of washing. One can choose an appropriate type of high power steam cleaners for challenging cleaning applications in office, commercial and industrial settings. The steam does that thing that commercial washing system cannot do. A steam can remove grease and grime while for normal cleaning requires expensive detergents. The multi cleaning system cannot be only used for industrial use but also for the housework stuff. So our prime focus is to use the steam and make multiple cleaning

- 5. INTRODUCTION Floor cleaner is very much useful in cleaning floors in hospitals, houses, auditorium, shops, computer centers etc; it is very simple in construction and easy to operate. The time taken for cleaning is very less and the cost is also very less. Maintenance cost is less
- 6. Much type of machines is widely used for this purpose. But they are working under different principles and the cost is also very high. In our project is very simple drive mechanism and easy to operate any persons. The floor cleaner is simple, modern house holding device; even children can also operate it easily with safety. It is very important one for each and every houses and hospitals etc.
- 7. It is very useful for cleaning the floors. The time taken for cleaning is very less and the cost is also very less. Maintenance cost is less. The size of the machine is also portable, so we can transfer from one place to other place very easily. Need
- 8. Objective To design and fabricate a floor cleaning and drying machine for house hold purpose. Hygiene is most important aspect of a healthy life. The major objective of the project is to design and fabricate a floor cleaning and drying machine at low cost for usage in houses.
- 9. Future Scope It is the future of cleaning in our fast moving life. Cleaner From industries to homes automatic floor cleaner is used and is becoming a very important part of life as it saves time, money and reduces human efforts to a great extent. By further modification the drive or movement can be made automatic.
- 11. Advantages • Manual effort is reduced. • It can be used in various floors. • Cleaning and polishing can be done at same time • Operating time is less
- 12. Disadvantages Vibrations will be produced when used on rough floors or surfaces. The washed surface has to be wiped out for thorough cleaning.
- 13. Applications Domestic purpose. Hospitals. Computer centers. Auditoriums. Cultural centers. Schools. Colleges. Large scale industries. Medium scale industries. Theatres. Educational institutions.
- 14. Conclusion Hereby we come to an end of our project “ FLOOR CLEANING MACHINE” So this project can be used any where either at home or offices. This is also cost efficient. The need of the project is satisfied and with the help of machine, cleaning of the floor can be done easily.
