my newspaper on the first
page and in my main story.
This is because my main
story is about a Leicester MP
who is considering attacking
Syria creating uproar from
the Leicester local people.

4. Closeness to Home
 This news value is apparent in my
main story and my second page
story. This is because they are
both revolved around Leicester.
However the second story fits
more into this News Value as it is
about a Leicester City footballer
having a fight of which people
know the footballer and the
location at which it happened.

get bored off and want to hear something different.

 I feel that my main story on Syria will have a
continuing impact on the people of Leicester, the MP’s
surrounding the decisions and general people
involved.
 It also plays a continuing impact on the people who
have to read about it everyday and see it in the news.

7. Personality
 This news value best describes my second page story
with my footballer getting into a fight, this is because
he is in the public eye and gets a lot of attention from
people in Leicester.
 He is also a role model for younger children to look up
to and their for has some kind of maturity and
professionalism to show.
