Final Project Final Project Isabel Piscitelli
This is my project! My personal habitat is based on a boat that is anchored to the sand, this idea refer me a spot with a small slope next to the sea.

To obtain the final form, I did the abstraction of a yacht photograph
Here is the process of sketch and abstraccion.

The common areas are at the first floor (living room, kitchen and dining room) and private ones in the last floor (bedroom) leaving the studio in the center of the house.

The movement (the stairs) within the space is anchored in a single lateral axis.

The structure of this design is very particular, is based in a double row of columns that separate the space into three sections allowing a peripheral circulation and a central use of the space.
This distribution of the columns allows a spatial distribution without the use of the walls thereby pleasing the objective of the project. The inclination of the columns is allegorical to the palm trees (vegetation of the area). circulation Central space
The materials planned for this design are: basically natural wood and concrete (painted white to accentuate the form)
The elevation of the ground refers to the principles of purity and tranquillity own Asian culture, the entry by a wide staircase and low slope accentuated the importance of the entry and involves the sea, which permanently interacts with the model that was confusing with the shore.
