This document discusses an automatic film developer machine that can develop film and digitize photos without needing a darkroom or scanner. It scans film and uploads the digitized photos. 2. What is film and what is this new technology
called an “automatic film developer”?
Film is a medium used for taking photos by taking or stamping an image captured by the camera
on to the film roll.
In order to digitize a photo, the film must be developed in the red room which can be a long
process. After, the film is then sent to a scanner where it can be made into photos or prints.
The new machine im introducing skips the red room process and scanner process by letting you
deposit film and then upload its contents.

3. What does it do?
Basically, in order to use this technology all you have to do is place and deposit your film roll
medium into the machine and then use your presets and custom settings. Give it 10 minutes or
less depending on the film and you will have your photos.

4. How will it change the career field?
I feel like this machine will help make the workflow go faster because you don’t have to wait on
getting film back or wait on the red room to be unreserved.
This will also cut down on errors from doing and converting film yourself which is very costly.
All in all, this will be a great addition to an office developing film.

5. How will i use this technology?
I will be able to get more orders out faster and be able to keep up with demands that i will have
once my clientele increases.
This will help me stay in competition with other companies too.
