2. Alice, a widowed mother believes her ex-husband has brought a new man in
her life after tragically passing away, there to care for her despite the
disapproval of her daughter Alice. As the mother’s deadline approaches for the
completion of her book, things get heated between the three before it is
revealed that the daughter was right after all and the Alice’s protector
vanishes with a heavy sum of money and ready move onto the next sum
venerable widow.

We’re looking to follow in the footsteps of iconic British films that have
appealed to an American/worldwide audience while improving on them with
the killer twist that takes place in Deadline grabbing the audience’s attention
and engaging into the film emotionally.
