So I turn my focus researching on Marvel,TriStar and New Line Cinema.

Marvel • Marvel started in 1939 asTimely Publications, and by the early 1950s had generally become known as Atlas Comics. • Marvel Studios, is anAmerican motion picture studio based atThe Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California and is a subsidiary ofWalt Disney Studios. • Their latest film ‘Doctor Strange’ is related with the idea of time and space. • Marvel have many different characters with special powers and characters who are able to solve many difficult issues and save the day.

Sony Pictures--TriSatr • TriStar Pictures is an American distribution studio owned by the Sony subsidiary Sony Pictures Entertainment. • They have distributed many fantasy films such as ‘Matilda’, ‘Santa Claus’, and ‘Labyrinth’. • ‘Looper’ is a film about one of the special killers who has the ability to travel through time and was given the job to kill his future self. I think our thriller is quite similar to ‘Looper’ which they distributed in 2012.

New Line Cinema • In 1967, New Line Cinema was established by Robert Shaye as a film distribution company, supplying foreign and art films for college campuses in the United States. • TheTimeTraveler's Wife is a 2009 American romantic drama film based on Audrey Niffenegger's novel of the same name. It’s about a man and his wife, although the man haves the ability to travel through time, he cannot control the ability and would suddenly jump to other random places in time.

Who would be the audience for your media product? • As our thriller is about time travelling and super powers which also might involve lots of action and mysterious, so I believe it is more suitable more people around teenage and above. However, because of the fantasy story line with superpowers may not be very attractive to people who are in there mid-age.Therefore I think our audience would mostly be teenagers and people around their twenties.
