This document provides information about the Foreign Exchange Operation Department (FEOD) and Developmental Finance Support Department (DFSD) at SBP-BSC Hyderabad. FEOD oversees foreign exchange operations and is divided into four units that handle returns, exports, imports/remittances, and overdue cases. AUTHORIZED DEALERS (AD):
• Under section 3 of FERA (1947), the SBP may, on
Application, Authorize any Schedule Bank to deal in
Foreign Exchange.
• It acts as an intermediary between Exporter/
importer, and Bank.
• SBP BSC Hyderabad, has around 150 ADs, falling
under its jurisdiction.
