3. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF

4. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF
INVESTMENT PROPOSAL IN EPZA
2)Following supporting documents are
to be submitted by the foreign
investor.
Feasibility Report of the proposed

for present/attached /allied business)

endorsement of Pakistani Embassy of
applicant country.

5. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF
INVESTMENT PROPOSAL IN EPZA
For Pakistani Investors
i) National Tax Number (NTN), Sale tax, Balance
sheet and present business status.
ii) Certificate for registration with Security Exchange
Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as a Private
Limited concerned company ( this requirement is
for Phase-II Projects only).
iii) Name of Directors indicated in Form with share
ratio issued by SECP.

3) After scrutinizing the documents, the case is placed in
Project Appraisal Committee (PAC) for their recommendation
for approval from the competent Authority and minutes of the
meeting are properly recorded with necessary remarks
/comments of all PAC members
4) After approval of the minutes by the competent Authority,
Investment Promotion Division issues a Provisional approval
letter to investor or regret the Project. If investment proposal
is approved then the investor is advised for deposit of
Security for land for 30 years lease period and Annual
Ground Rent (AGR).

7. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF
INVESTMENT PROPOSAL IN EPZA
5) if investor acquired any sick/closed unit then adopted
sale/transfer/purchase procedure and also made difference of
security deposit (land), advance AGR and a transfer fee of @
US $ 5 per M2 to the Authority.
After due payment is received in Finance Division, a final
approval letter issued to the investor, showing allotment of
plot No, Sector No and measurement of area allotted to unit.
Finally, investor is executed their License Agreement with
EPZA through Secretary for
30 years lease of said plot/land.
IP Division then circulates copies of the signed License
Agreement to all concerned Divisions for necessary actions at
their end.

8. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF
INVESTMENT PROPOSAL IN EPZA
6) Engineering Division then issues a site Plan and Possession
Order to the investor.
7) Investor then submits 'Building Drawings' for approval to
Engineering division before start of construction and get Petty
Gate Pass Book from Facilities Division to enter their local
construction material i.e. sand, cement, shuttering etc.
8) If investor intends to import duty free construction material
they file Goods declaration (G.D)and invoices in Customs
and apply import Gate passes from Facilities Division which
are issued on receiving customs examination on the GD's.
