However, we didn’t expect people to think that it is a comedy/parody of a horror movie, and so we where surprised by the results we got for this question.

Soundtrack/sound: Portrays the atmosphere in both the beginning and ending of the trailer The silence and scream at the end creating tension Editing: Use of fast cuts Mise-en-scene: - The use of the bottle throughout the trailer The location which gives off an eerie feeling Camera work: Dark lighting to add suspense Shaky camera movement Choice of camera shots i.e. extreme close up of one character drinking These were the results we expected to get as they were the main codes and conventions people would recognise when watching horror based film.

People are going to die but they don’t know who is the killer (80%) Party gets out of hand when they are playing truth or dare (13%) Everyone is possessed (7%) The majority predicted the correct plot; the second answer is also linked to the first answer.
